Trapped and dispatched big coon late last summer. Killed 5 ducks in their pen.

Then had this fella bite one of our dogs last month when he ventured around the house. Escaped up a tree.

Square tubing bender?😃
Rogue Fabrication M625. It will bend round, square and even solid 1.75” mild steel.

The cart you see there is their design, and a weld together kit, as was the bender.

The Bailiegh bender was a bit slow, so upgrade.

Turns out the air compressor is shared with (and located in) the powder coat shop next door, and sometimes there is a bit of “waiting” involved in that situation. It’s not on in the mornings when Fowler arrives (he is an early bird), or the powder shop needs all the air for a job, so I’m shipping the one I have in Texas to them soon.

Hopefully this will be “enough” air 😜

(Bought this one “not working” and fixed a bunch of stuff: it was wired wrong, (WTF?) all the (plastic) oil lines needed replacement (they were holding when I started it, but brittle enough that they didn’t tools long), had to service the drier and filters, but otherwise it runs well.)

In a strange twist of fate yesterday i was recommended a gunsmith not far from the house. Works out of his home in shop. (We’re talking in the country!)

I give him a call and we talk for 40 minutes.

Turns out he is huge custom gun builder who also builds and adapts suppressors. Veteran who builds guns for swat teams. Loads specialty ammo. Has several auto guns you can rent and shoot behind his house.

Gonna have him help me put together a nice 308. He said I could give him call anytime and we could meet in evening or on Saturday. Sundays unlikely since he also told me he was a pastor!

wife and I flew home last night and landed around 1am. When we pulled into our residential neighborhood we came across a coyote. Rumor has it that they like the rabbits and white fluffy dogs that also habitate around us.

The coyote in Austin inhabit the creeks that run through town and they’re … well-fed on people’s cats.

You guys must realize that North Jersey is like driving through New York City….loads of cars and people in residential areas. Sitting at a traffic light while driving out of work and the woman in the car next to me both looked at each other as we simultaneously eyed a huge coyote trotting down the yellow line in the roadway. I thought maybe it was an ugly dog but it was a coyote… in an urban population. Made local TV news that evening

When I lived in Vermont, we were seeing cross between coyotes and dogs they called them “coy-dogs”… they were really growing in number.

Then about 2 months ago while walking in the back of the pole barn I see the UGLIEST fox I have ever seen. Looked mangy and skinny but had a bounce to his step. This is exactly what it looked like but I did not take this picture, it’s from some local beach town

Wow, we did all our cage bends on a Greenlee electrical bender back when, not where near that level of choices on size and radius though 🤯
Made the bends for my raft frame on a Greenlee conduit bender. Thought about picking one of those up just to bend up raft frames, but this Rogue unit with the multiple radius dies for the different tubing diameters, ups the versatility, not to mention the affordability! Those Greenlees can be pricey!

That would be fun, done it a couple times and was something I hoped to do more of living in Colorado.

Now it looks like it’s a Jon boat here in Oklahoma.

When the Apocalypse comes the last things standing will be coyotes and cockroaches.

Wife’s ducks been living at front pond with what water we left while rebuilding it. Of course coyotes like duck! Game camera took pic of these maybe 120 yards from house on Xmas eve.

Ordered thermal scope, going to mount in my AR 15 with suppressor. Have to protect the homestead!

Not good. Are they packing rabies in your area?
