It was a leap I didn't know I was ready for. The main thing I realized was that I wasn't just clocking in. I was a director running a survey department for someone else. Why not work that hard for myself and on my terms? Not to mention more $$.This is good to hear! I imagine stepping into the world of ownership is a huge leap from just clocking in everyday. Going on 4…she was VERY upset when our English Shepard passed last month. Bella was 11 and was here 7 years before. I have recently read dogs have a 21 day memory?? She seems to be bouncing back a but I have no clue if that is why.
Hard to believe how many tools got carried from the pole barn to the house and now back to the pole barn…they put some weight on in 4 months!

Bad night for the red fox last night, the dogs were on the job. I guess he was trying to cross the goat pasture. Shame too, he's a nice looking animal.

Spent the day in Windsor again. General plan is Fridays when I’m in-town. Got to help a tiny bit with assembling the new tube bender, but it was mostly Mike and Fowler.

Neighbor to the back here has a good sized coup and there are a couple foxes that hang around some. No cover around the coup for a good 10–12 yards, so we can see them traverse, but I don’t think they’ve ever found a way in.Yeah I’ve not seen too many Fox in my life, but wrong place at wrong time…too bad

Square tubing bender?
Wife’s ducks been living at front pond with what water we left while rebuilding it. Of course coyotes like duck! Game camera took pic of these maybe 120 yards from house on Xmas eve.
Ordered thermal scope, going to mount in my AR 15 with suppressor. Have to protect the homestead!

Racoons are the ones that will find a way in, but foxes can sure do a number in a chicken coop. I don't think my fox was going after a goat, just bad judgement. The number one problem here are the roaming stray dogs. I practice the three SSS's....Shoot, Shovel and Shut up.
