I've just started making the FiTech or Sniper installation kits, they include the adapter, cable linkage set up, and air cleaner that clears the brake master cylinder, but I am also refining components and getting ready for full blown production- - -stay tuned

Is this full kit available? I'd like to do a Holley Sniper EFI setup on my '77 2F.

I used the complete Holley Sniper kit you will just have to get a holley 2 barrel adapter plate.

I'm building more installation kits now for installing the Fitech or Holley fuel injection kits, but they are pricey since I ran out of my OLD INVENTORY, and now have to spend $$$. I have to custom machine the 8mm adapter plate mounting screws, I include one of my 26" long upgraded throttle cable kits with die stamped cable mounting bracket, I include a 6 3/8" round air cleaner with 4" tall K&N pre oiled filter element (this diameter does not hit the brake master cylinder), and I customize the top lid of the air cleaner housing with a moulded-in "Fuel Injection" chrome emblem. New cost of new kit is $189.90. Lemme know about interest in new kit so that I know how many to build, I only have parts this instant for 3 kits.
Snivilous, so you evidently didn't know about my FiTech/Sniper installation kits ??? These kits include the machined adapter, re-machined 8mm screws, fuel pump block off plate, weld-on 02 bung, temp sensor adapter, a throttle cable mounting bracket, and a 6 3/8" diameter "Fuel Injection" air cleaner that clears your brake master cylinder. It looks like it is still available! Just shot you a PM @Downey. Interested in the full Holley Sniper kit.

I'm curious if the stock air cleaner would fit on this version of the Sniper..

I’m curious about this. Is anyone running it? Is bolt pattern the same? Seems like it could be a good option.

Unfortunately, the bolt pattern is smaller than the Cruiser bolt pattern.

An update on my sniper conversion, a few days ago I had the fuel pump randomly die while driving. That's the only issue with the full sniper kit I've had, probably going to swap it out for a good intank pump.

Bolt pattern difference. Sniper base gasket compared to fj40 2 barrel plenum gasket.

Well guys, another mud member advised me that I should let you all know about our Billet adapters! We put a ton of time into these. The shape of the bowls on both ends, the placement of the unit itself , hardware etc.... Please check them out. These may work for you all!

Has anyone looked at timing control for these? Could the hyper spark distributor for a Jeep be modified for use? Not having jeeps around here I have no idea of the dimensions of their distributor.

The Sniper "Master Kit" includes the fuel pump, filters, fuel line, and a fitting to install in the gas tank for the return line. Not sure what the process is to make that fitting work.
I really like the idea someone else posted of the additional connection on the fuel filler hose. That should work too.
Also if you do not want to modify the tank, you can T into the filler neck.

Another option for return line I see used, is the fuel filter used on early 2000's Corvettes. AC/Delco #gf822. Fuel returns to filter from throttle body, has regulator built in. Hope this helps, Al

Well since I seemed to be behind the game and everyone already knows how to do the conversion, let's just jump ahead and say it runs and fired right up! I ended up getting a generic throttle cable from Summit and making two brackets, the stock linkage was gonna be a pain to retrofit. I also ended up following Downey's idea with a different air cleaner, which looking at his pictures now I think we got the same one haha. Also I concede thecrazygreek is 100% right, I found it in my manual where it says not to run the temp sensor in the thermostat housing. I even went to swap it with one of the head ports, but the probe on the sensor is so long it wouldn't fit without spacing it up and I didn't want an air bubble so went back to the thermostat housing. Well unbeknownst to me, what I've concluded is the thermostat is after the radiator and not before (unless there's some other reason) so the sensor took forever to heat up and then maxed out around 153F, so it didn't get hot enough to adjust the idle and I didn't want to drive it around. I'll let it cool down and move the sensor tomorrow, I'm thinking I'll swap out the stock sensor since it's nearly useless anyways and hopefully there's some depth in that port so the probe won't hit anything.

Obviously still need to clean up wiring and some other little things, but it fired up and everything seems to check out so far! I'll drive it a bunch tomorrow and see how it does. Thanks for this thread and the advice in it! The truck already seems way better off without the carb!

Whats that air filter assembly part number? Working on gathering all my parts. Thanks!

Soooooo here's another bump on my FiTech/Sniper installation kits, see ebay #254216019493, but don't buy on ebay, contact me direct.

Hitoy, best to check out my ebay listing noted above since it includes "everything" not included from Holley (except the fuel pump). I generally discount Mud members 10% since I then don't have to give that 10% to ebay.

@Downey Will the Downey GM TBI adapter work with the Holley Sniper?
