After lunch while listening to Arch Manning choke I am getting this engine bay built back
Most of the valves were close but one was way way loose. I think this thing will cook off much quieter than when it arrived.

Alright. We are in business. All the engine noise is gone with the valve adjustment.
I need to pull the dissy and clock it back one notch as I can't get it to show up on the timing light.
Getting close .....
PS...it would not start at first but I reran the wizard and it fired right up. I'm assuming the old MSD ignition and PowerSurge had something off.

I didn't get a good pic of the before...was in too much of a hurry that day I guess
But the after is much cleaner. Not only the powder but the passenger fender losing all that MSD nonsense

Got the timing adjusted, IAC dialed in. Running great so I added a new OEM air filter and buttoned it up.
Tried to fix the speedo cable but it's a goner so I had to order one.
I'm down to some small stuff and one last big item, the EPS install. That usually takes me a day to install.
I may have to head to Houston Monday to pick up a couple of Saudi 80s so I may wait to start this until I'm back.
Either way I'm close close.
