Price/Pix on the Bully Bar? Do we think it will fit on a 60?

Looks like you found a good one Randy. Again sorry to take so long to reply to your pm.
I think the troopy's with the softtop looks great, that was my plan before I bought my FJ45 ute. Seeing those ones above makes me wish I had've been more patient.

And four years later...the quest continues.

Two years ago the head popped on the 2H. After much debate, off to Wally's it went for a transplant and in went an '03 6.0L Vortec mated up to the H55. Somehow, it turned into a frame off rebuild, but I'm sure none of you know anything about that .

Good progress on the 47 up at Wally's lately. Tub and firewall seam sealed & undercoated in body color (6h9) Raptor Liner, gas tank in, 1/8 quarters & wheel well tops, OME, test fitted panels. Reassembly is fun. Miles of bodywork to go...

MORE!!!:D I love the 6H9 - can't wait to see it done. You will love having a Vortec troopy - only way to go.

looks great is she moving under her own power???

Love the color!
Love the 60 series PS!
Love the widened wheels!
I won't comment on the VORTEC. :hillbilly:

Looks like a clean install! Reassembly is WAY more fun. It goes wicked fast, try to enjoy it (especially once you get paint finished).

Talk to us about the radiator. Custom job? How's it mounted? Is it a stock size for an SBC? I see it's a crossflow, nice.

Dan

Thanks all.

Not yet. Next trip to VT we'll finish the fuel lines and try to start the motor.

JohnnyC - be ready for FG2011 ?
Not likely Johnny. It's a couple months away from paint.

HJ47 - MORE!!!:D I love the 6H9 - can't wait to see it done. You will love having a Vortec troopy - only way to go.
Agreed on the 6H9 and this ought to be a lot of it. Planning on finishing it with a satin clear coat. What Muffler are you running?

You just did :hillbilly:. Yeah, this was a long drawn-out debate over many a beer and strong opinions. Once the 2H head blew the research began. In short, it came down to parts availability, cost, and power. This will be a DD and will haul family, trailers, and a 40.

Looks like a clean install!
That's all Wally. The man does excellent work.

It's a Summit Racing cross flow model made by Griffin. Custom feet on the front cross member and tension rods down the sides. I'll take more detailed pics of how it's mounted.

Tank cleaned up and installed. New front floors by Wally&Co. Tub blasted, and coated with SEM Rockit Liner in black and green primer. New rear cross member.
