Are you not planning on capping the inner wheel wells or have you just not had time for it yet?

How did the exhaust hanger hold up? :grinpimp:

My rear exhaust is still hung by wire! Replace that with Duct tape and I bet you'll be good for a year! 60 is looking good.

Well this was a quick and easy one. I had a 140 amp GM 1 wire alternator from my old 40. I haven't added any additional electronics as I don't have much faith in the stock alternator to keep up. It took me all of an hour and a half to swap it over.

Heres my tabs I made.

Better shot.

I cut these spacers from some extra bushing sleeves I had laying around. To measure, I bolted the alt. tight to the adjuster bracket and measured based on that.

You can see the tab I made at the front, a sleeve, the factory bracket, sleeve, second tab, last sleeve, back of factory bracket.

Installed with 1 lead from the alt. to the battery.

For stuff like this and my battery cables, I like to use copper soldered ends so I can cut the cables to fit. You can pick them up @ NAPA and you just need a butane torch and solder.

Looks good. I love the build.

The only question I have about the alternator and connection is that I have heard that those batteries that have both a side post and a top post have a very thin amount of material between the side post and the top and that any high current connection should be made to the top post. Anyone else hear or know this to be the case?

I may have missed it, but you stuffed 39.5 on just a spring over and sawzall mods?

Have any pics of the front and rear inner fenders?

For the 1 wire alt install, don't the other stock alternator wires need to be connected somewhere?
