I sure hope this is a viable alternative!! I too have been back ordered with summit for over a month with the PR88. @grocerygogetter and @red66toy thanks for looking into options.

Just got in the W0133-1743784 Kyosan fuel pressure regulator. It bolted right up! I had to replace the vacuum line with a piece approx 4" longer to dodge the smog pump pipe as that the angle of the vacuum inlet is positioned 45 deg away from oem location. Ran her up the interstate and back home. Killed it, waited about 20 minutes and she fired right up so YEAY!!!! The 2nd pict below is the original on the left that started this whole thing the one on the right is the POS that cruiserparts.net sent me for 50$ plus shipping. I think it was sitting in the bottom of a muddy bin somewhere and they hosed it off and sent it! THANK YOU @c2dfj45 and red66toy for passing this on. I'll let you know if it goes awry, but I think it's probly gold!!!

While I do agree that sucks they jacked up the price already; $75 is still relatively cheap, and half the cost of the non-Denso generics we were stuck with just a short time ago. 
I'll buy one because I want these guys to keep churning out aftermarket parts for us.

Just to further confirm these FPRs work as a replacement. Fuel pressure readings are well within spec for the FJ62 per the FSM. Just wanted to close this out with an actual check with pressure readings.

Anyone try buying a pr88 lately? I thought I saw them advertised as in stock somewhere...
The PR88 in now in stock on EBAY as well as other sites. For well over $100. I ordered a replacement as seen above. Much better price and and Denso to boot.
I had one on back order from summit racing that I had forgotten to cancel when I went with the W0133-1743784 Kyosan FPR. So I've got an extra. The PR88 seems to be available everywhere now that I don't need one. dmnt!
