Looking through some old family photos and snag my pops in his smitten early FJ56. Check the mirrors with barn doors. Guess I had the bug before I was born.

Great meeting up with a fellow FJ55 enthusiast today. Felt great to share both stories and spare parts. Graham's 55 is in excellent condition and was great to see it on the road. My first time seeing a tailgate model with working wind up window.

Something small but needed. FJ55 rear shock mount to fit my Bilstiens. Ground back and rust treated. Will be great to finish off the suspension for the final time.

This virus thing does some strange things to people. I snagged a cheap reco'e H151 Gearbox and Full time Transfer for the 55 when it finally gets a 1HDFTE Motor and 80 series chassis.

This is how my mate is delivering it to me. On his BMW Bike. 1000km drive.

Good to have mates!

The H151 and All time Transfer finally meet. How just need to find a Bell Housing and Clutch to suit the 1HDFTE Motor for when I blow the 2H Turbo up. Looking forward to throw some crawler gear in and clean them up.

Finn our GSP helping out with the Trasnfer Case and Gearbox.
Also found a local brewer who makes a great pale ale. 55 and all. Think ill be visiting a few more times this year.

Another night fitting out the work shed. Making room to start on making some brackets for the engine bay. Need to build a new secure cabinet on the left, and fix the mig welder.

Little bit of V8 40s here. Little bit of 60 series power steering there. Little more of FJ55 floor panels and rear quarters.
