Flatbed. Any back round story on your vise? I've never seen that design before.
It's one my dads had in the shed for decade. See what I can find out from him

Looks like it was formed from plate steel.

Sweet vise, I kind of want one now…

First time in two months I've been able to see the FJ55. We've made some great progress on the rust through the floors and body. We move into building a subframe for the lexus seat which ride at a perfect cruising height. Ticked off some big items with our new Shocks installed and front brake lines. Only have Steering and a pesky transfer seal to do before our first drive.

Dropped by a mate shop who's helping with a new trick pieces I need tapped and machined. He owns this awesome BJ74 with a 5L V8 Motor, running 42s with Custom 4 Link Rear and Crawler box.

Another neat thing to have plumbed up is this Custom fuel tank. Sits between Gearbox and rear diff. Holds around 90L of gods sweat nectar. Was pulled from a 55 so it's bolt in and drive!

Next on the list I will be attempting to bend up some pipe for a rear quater slider. This is the style Ill be after. Welded right to the Tow Bar. Thoughts?
