Thanks, everyone who did the research for me. Also, they seem to be under $9 today from amazon.

I opted not to get the hose kit - push comes to shove i will visit my local hosier.

Napa and Autozone seem to sell the same kit, but for $18

Thanks for the heads up, ordered three sets!

Installation is pretty easy and use the included tool to aim the nozzles. Before you start, have on hand bunch of fasteners for the hood insulation liner because you'll end up breaking the OEM ones. I broke every single one. Perhaps there's a trick to removing the OEM fasteners?

Ali, post-install report please. How well do they clean the windshield compared to OEM?

More pics.

Performance is much better than OEM I think.

I haven't tested them at speed yet though!!!

^ AA: Let's see what they do in a big cross wind. Like Nevada style cross winds :flipoff2:

hmm, looks like that may happen. We're getting high wind alerts on my phone......:D

I just installed mine. The coverage is great. The pressure as of now is great enough to activate my rear but I don't have the time to mess around with it yet. Has anyone else had that problem? It does appear to leave more fluid on my hood after an application for whatever that is worth.
I wanted to add that I was able to install them in a few minutes without removing the under-hood protector, just reach from the back, pop out the old, put in the new.

Great information...just ordered a set and look forward to getting 'em installed! Thanks folks

I've been putting it off, but it looks like I'll bee needing a set now

Had a bit of a freak accident at the shop last night

I had taken off the hood and put it on top of my roof rack for easy access while doing a valve job and last night, I put her up on the lift to check for leaks and when I opened up the garage door (spring loaded, glass), one of the bars on the door smashed both nozzles off clean without even touching the hood

I'll be stopping by Pep Boys tomorrow cause it looks like they carry the same adjustable Dorman kit :smokin:

That's something I would do!

Check out the nozzles made for the 4th 4runner '03-'09. I like the triple spray pattern and find them to quite effective. One downside to the ones I'm using is that the check valves aren't that good and they tend to drip, leaving long water marks on the hood. So, I'll be switching mine out for a set from a '04 Runner that I found in the PnP yard few months back.

When you have them, please post up the results.

I'm not happy with the Dorman nozzles I just installed for the very same reasons :meh:

The fan spray is nicer than the factory streams, but then I end up with more fluid on the hood than the windshield

I just go really fast through water puddles n s***.

Well, I gave the Dorman universal fan spray nozzles a shot, but with no internal check valve, they tend to put more water on my hood than the windshield

Damn shame cause I actually prefer the fan spray over the OEM squirt type nozzles :hmm:

I ended up getting a pair of 1st Gen Scion XB 3-way nozzles from EBay on the cheap :meh:

They fit perfectly and work as they should without leaking down

Awesome vid dude!!!!
