I finally went for a real drive this evening. A whole 5 miles! Chunk drove great.
There is still so much to do but man that diesel is nice.

Other items done are the 4 plus rear bumper and Corbeau seats in for a test run at least. I think I am going to move the license plate location so it isn't stuck out there so far.

The Corbeau seats are really comfortable. Not loving the fabric match to the rear seats but they all need covers.
Buddy is just too hairy to not have seat covers!

He does give Chunk his seal of approval.

I remember when Chunk was in the early stages and I thought I would use it as my pace car for my 75 build. I got lapped!

I don't know man, I should have been done a while ago and just can't get steam back up. You might still win.

The drive tonight REALLY helped though.

Pat you’re making great progress and it looks good! I can’t wait to see those stripes!!

YES, some stripe porn please !! :grinpimp:
Coming soon!

On that note, my buddy Tewks stopped the other day to pick up his rush laser cut parts I coated for an "essential supplier" of his. We were having a cold 12 ounce creativity beverage (staying 6 feet apart of course) and we struck on a possible change for the stripes. I have slept on it for a few nights now and I can't shake it so Chunk may not look exactly like the rendering that @Box Rocket did for me.

Well let's at least hear the new plan! I'm sure it will be super cool.

Looking forward to the final product.

So those SOR slider windows.....only the front piece of the window slides? Is that manufacturer label easily removed?
Correct, front only. The rear part sliding would be better but I can still reach in easily enough. The label is on with emblem tape so should come off pretty easily.

This is so exciting! What sound deadener is that on your floor?

I am the worst at keeping my big mouth shut but am going to try to hold the surprise.

Amazon - Mat 66 is the name. Basically a Dynamat knock off. Sticks really well so far.
