It’s hasn’t ever been for sale, but it is going to a new care taker. He did pay me for it so technically , it’s been sold.

I suspect he will let the cat out of the bag when he’s ready.
After having seen it, sat in it, driven it, and heard the story passing it on to another caretaker is, IMO, the only way this unique FJ45 should be "sold". It is more than a collection of functioning parts with nothing but monetary value. It carries a history, a vessel of memories, and now perhaps within the FJ45 world is developing a legacy.

This is a scene I see every day driving home from Phoenix to Casa Grande. Mexicans pulling in tandem two toyota trucks to Mexico. Smart but rarely the solid front axle 4X4’s. They will run forever with proper maintenance
