Donor 40 upgrade for the 45.

Although the old painted spear looked fine, this spear still wears it’s chrome and has just the right amount of scratches.

The best part about an original truck is it can continue its life as a very versatile work truck.

Fact. It’s one of the best tools I have. Plus, I never worry about scratches.

I'm glad...makes me think you might, one day, sell me the 55.

You sold Eds truck?

It’s hasn’t ever been for sale, but it is going to a new care taker. He did pay me for it so technically , it’s been sold.

After having seen it, sat in it, driven it, and heard the story passing it on to another caretaker is, IMO, the only way this unique FJ45 should be "sold". It is more than a collection of functioning parts with nothing but monetary value. It carries a history, a vessel of memories, and now perhaps within the FJ45 world is developing a legacy.

He is lucky to have a great ... friend. And if he doesn’t post up the continuing saga Ed will certainly have a word with him.

View attachment 1204790 Apparently there is a mass exodus of Toyotas from out west. Ive seen dozens of Toyotas, being pulled by Toyotas, heading to Mexico.
This is a scene I see every day driving home from Phoenix to Casa Grande. Mexicans pulling in tandem two toyota trucks to Mexico. Smart but rarely the solid front axle 4X4’s. They will run forever with proper maintenance
