Great video! Maybe a dumb question. If you mount a winch to it...do you mount the winch after everything is set with the bumper? In other words, would you mount the winch when you mount the splash guard?
Thanks man! That's a great question I don't know the answer to. Looking at it you might be able to with the splash pan off but I think it would be pretty tough because of the weight of the winch and ease of getting at the mounting hardware. I intend to pull the bumper when I install one here in the near future. Once you do the initial bumper installation it's only 8 bolts to remove after the splash pans off, oh and may be the light housings, but shouldn't be too bad.Great video! Maybe a dumb question. If you dont have a winch when installing the bumper, you can add it later by removing the splash shield, lifting the winch from below and bolting it in. If you have one, mount the winch to the bumper and then install the bumper on the brackets.Great video! Maybe a dumb question. Thanks man! I really appretiate it!I love your YouTube channel!
Alright, so which antenna are you using? I might have missed it somewhere, but I dont think you told us the exact one. I see what mount your using, again just looking for the antenna itself. Great videos on the youtube channel and always am dreaming of that man room downstairs that you have.
Thanks man! I am pretty behind on posting my projects on here and really need to catch up the thread. These are the lights I have Amazon.com: YITAMOTOR LED Light Bar 2PCS 18W 6 Inch Flood LED Work Light Pods Single Row Off Road Led Light Driving Light Fog Light Boat Light Waterproof SUV ATV 4WD Car Truck Golf Cart 12V 24V, 2 Year Warranty: Automotive@brizzle , Nice work on your rig! What lights are you using around the hatch opening of your truck? How did you attach them? I looked through the build but might've missed that part.
It has been a number of months since I've posted anything on youtube, here, or was able to work on the rig. I have had a lot of professional and personal things going on that kept me busy. I am getting things rolling again and really miss all the fun I had putting videos together and being a part of this community. Thanks to everyone who checked in on me to be sure I was ok! I am excited to get back at it again and show you what I am up to with the hundy!
Oh gotcha, those were a random LED light set that I bought a while ago. I didn't know much about LED strips at the time. It's an addressable LED strip with an RF controller. This is the one I have up in my roofnest. It uses bluetooth and has more features like music sync, phone control, and the good color changing you get from an addressable strip. I may actually replace the rear lights with these. https://amzn.to/2Z35jn0Thanks for your reply @brizzle . Those are nice lights! However the lights to which I was referring are the blue lights in the video below:
I'd like to illuminate the cargo area a little better than the factory overhead. I'm considering something like an LED light strip(like what it appears you have) around the rear opening wired to a switch by one of the 12v outlets back there.

I talk about some of my considerations in this video. Let me know if you have any questions.
