I have been laughing at so many things from this recent exchange. Sorry Wermz. As usual your work is amazing and should get proper recognition. Welds on that thin metal look legit and well stacked.

Haha that’s how I did it but with a smaller 3/16” rod, it also allows you to grind it smooth with out it coming apart and leave a rounded edge.Theres a 1/4” rod welded in that edge. Give you something to put the heat into and you can push the puddle to the sheetmetal a lot easier when you already have a puddle formed. Plus the rods give tons of strength to the edge. Thats why you see two welds. And thanks dudes
Time to mount the UCA's to the top of the diff? The rear steer is very evident in the third picture.. rear steer meaning the change in “steer angle” of the entire rear axle with each end at opposite extreme of their vertical travel. this is a symptom of the 4 link arm lengths and mount positions. Youd never notice this on a stock 80 during its normal usable travel, but it exists on a stock 80.

Sounds like some mounting brackets will be in order...
I made this home made clamp to pull the fuel pipe up and back out of the way. I also pulled the pipe out of the connecting rubber hose 1/2" under the truck and re-drilled the OEM mounting point. I used a ratchet strap to pull the pipe up and back then used the clamp to hold it in position.Heres some pics..
Including Mr. Sniff your girl..
You can see the new patch panels and the old ones left over from the last time i did this for the 37s.. also if you look closely you can see a small rust hole where the seat belt mount was, im going to eliminate rear seat belts all together and patch that tiny hole up.
