Tried. Not drivable with center diff locked. Thanks.
Of course. Hmm, you didn't mention fluid levels. Does yours have the dip stick on the transmission? It's probably worth a crawl under to inspect drive shafts/output shafts/etc.
I'd jack up the front and rear tires on one side and see if they spin with the lock engaged, that'll tell you if the transfer case is acting properly at least.
But yeah, probably time to find a good transmission shop.

Yes it leaked red fluid and I can smell it. Thanks a lot.
I am looking for a used transmission and replace it.

Oh

I thought I was just the recipient of bad fog lights. I’ve replaced with 3 ew pairs after moisture gets in quickly. I’m now just resigned to having foggy dog lights. Let me know if you make any progress with finding water tight lights.

Well, I figured this is 2020.... errrrrrr, almost. I thought someone would have had an awesome solution to these fog lights. I will keep on the search from the expensive, amazon, or wish app. I will find some lights :)

I have four Rigid Industries D2 LEDs, two fog, two spot. I am going to make mounts for our 100 series in a month maybe. Have to complete ongoing projects.

Damn man sorry to hear about the transmission...hope you can find a good used one or worst case case you get a new 100 series

Picked up some glow paint this week and painted the gear shifter cap. It took about 5 coats, use a toothpick to move the material around (kind of a putty when dry) and sand with 1400. I need to pick up some clear coat. Camera exaggerates the glow but would say it last a couple of hours. Watch lume might a better choice but this stuff was $3.00 at a hobby store.

Someone found a 100 in a junkyard in Utah or someplace very recently. They posted about it. I doubt that will really help....and I am not sure what is left of the truck.

Also, I would be down for some sort of cup holder insert. My butterfly clip thing is long gone. I have tried to make do with a couple old school foam beer coozies.
I am thinking something that slid tightly in place, had thicker walls so normal sized cups/drinks fit better and then make it much higher so they do not fall over.

I like it!

Yep that’s the one. It clamshells open and holds roughly nothing.

OK this might be what you need. The shown prototype mounts one 12V outlet, one 120V AC outlet, and two switches. The configuration can be customized.

I’d go for a cup holder extension x 2 too.
Especially after my coffee cup fell over today

@BenCC It may be listed in the classifieds, but I know @cjmoon in Kansas City has some drive train components available from a couple part outs.

This looks great. I’ll start figuring out exactly what I want and I’ll be in touch. Do you think you’ll be working on the overhead console replacement or fog light panel anytime soon? If so I’ll likely wait until they are all done and order a few things from you all at once.

Will work but I cannot say soon. It takes a lot of time to make a factory look or factory-blended model. Toyota designers use a lot of strange curves or contours. I am working on 4 projects at the same time. But design iterations take time. To match the contour, I have printed 15 prototypes.

Once you have something to put in there, just let me know.

I installed my scan gauge yesterday, where did you route the cable, especially with the big plug to lengthen the cable? The plug in my cruiser ended being above the windshield and stands out like a soar thumb.

Route OBD cable from A pillar and above the roof liner. The cable should be invisible.
