Pex is way cheaper, safe (vs pvc), very easy to modify. PEX does not get brittle. Burst pressure is way higher than PVC and ruptures are more local bulge burst than shrapnel. Everything is available at big box stores for pex. I had 90’ of larger diameter headers which Adds up quick with Max air.

Lift is a 2 post assymetric lift 9000lbs. If you want to lift you Dually it may be at its limit and may need more that 9000 lbs. Otherwise lift capacity works for most things. Check concrete floor specs needed for anchoring as you build your shop

I bought mine for $1700 shipped. Looks like they are more now perhaps due to supply chain issues. Looks like they sell the Atlas brand too which is very good.

The baseplate lift is cheaper but I do not like having the cables running below. It interferes with moving things underneath the lifted vehicles (e.g. transmission jacks, etc.)

if at all possible avoid concrete joints on your shop floor. Way easier to move heavy things. An overhead mono rail is a godsend as well if you find a way to put one in.

Thanks CD! I have ordered a 10k lbs Challenger VLE10 and have spec’d the build plans accordingly. I have used pvc for a long time in my current setup with no issues 🤞🏻 But I will be upgrading my compressor for the new shop so pvc is out. A local friend recently plumbed his air system with Rapid Air which seems to be similar to Max Air. I really liked the easy clean installation of the RA system.

Max air and Rapid air are modular and could work well if you lay it out ahead of time. I have too many “obstacles” to work around where this would have been harder to do. Looks like you have a good lift. So is your shop build moving ahead? Thread pls.

I am in full on prep mode, getting the site ready. About half of the materials are currently on site. Construction won’t start until early August.

A hot full day at the barn yesterday. Whole family went at it. Sandy, :princess: 40 is getting blue calipers😁!!!

More progress on several fronts. :princess: 40 back on 4 wheels. Moved the white spoke wheels on my 40 to hers. Look likes just right.

@SipLife got his 2.5” lift kit in.

@Cowboy45 is working on getting a late model 40 trans cover to work for his H55f install on the HJ45. Exploring some ideas.
