Apologies, just got a chance to check on the spring. I checked the part number and its actually for the clutch, I also checked Toyota EPC and the part number should be 90506-12023 (NLA). I ordered the clutch spring as it was really close to what I needed for the brake pedal spring. Found this article about the brake pedal spring brake pedal - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/brake-pedal.1260514/.

Here ya go. I took this off my 75 40. My hand brake isnt hooked up, so I took a look. Good thing I did. It wasn't attached and was dangling from the firewall. Now I need to see how to reinstall it. The hooks are aligned with each other.

Yep, mine are cheap ass HF. I learned a long time ago, I can't keep nice things nice.

Same here. Retired and do not need professional grade tools. Cheap HF actually last. Just purchased a battery powered caulking gun. HF doesn't show having one so overnight by Amazon for $70 plus tax. Sure my old hands will thank me. Redoing all the molding in the house. Already have a HF phuematic nailer and HF miter saw.

I was working on polishing this horn cover a little but my high quality wool pad came loose almost immediately. I started with 1000 then 3000 grit and finished with 5000 grit and some plastic polish.

@Engineer8000 …would you mind telling what you used to re-insulate the heater tubes? They look terrific

I purchased this piece from the classifieds here because it was a bargain. I originally bought the foam from McMaster Carr, I think this was it. I used chalk line dust in the foam to help it slide on, others have used baby powder, I think.

This is the part number for the foam tubing from McMaster-Carr. I checked, the number is still applicable.

2ea 4339T8 Ultra-Weather-Resistant EPDM Foam Tube, 3/4" OD, 1/2" ID, 6 Feet Long

Jul 17, 2020 price each: $10.93

I used compressed air, blown through the "front" of the metal tube and pushing the foam onto the "back" end of the metal tube. You block the trailing end of the foam tube, which makes the foam expand as the compressed air leaves the backend of the metal tube and travels back to the front between the tube and the foam.

Don't overdo the compressed air pressure!

I am still thinking that when I squeeze the air trigger, the air pressure rips thru the foam an tears it in pieces…😂

Good thinking to regulate the pressure

Ordered 2 tubes. 14.25 each
Total w/ shipping and tax $4240

I used this and the baby powder - I also put the tubes mostly in the check freezer to contract some and the foam in the sun before I slid the foam over
