What’s up with the driver side apron? It almost looks like fiberglass.
Same stuff as this.

I’m truly scared to remove it. It’s some heavy coat of Monkey POX that I think May cover up a big hole. It’s painted over on the inside.

Goes in the “if I got there it might be bad” category so it’s not getting taken off

Clicking along.

Had to use a 2F fan shroud as the F one was way off. Glad I had one in the pile from a recent used parts buy. I cut it for ease all around of dealing with it now and future

I had the thing on a cart for most of a day and never freaking looked at it.

So in the truck it happened.
I’ve got all the stuff to do it quick in the truck

And that’s a wrap. Once again, I’m whipped.

Going to see @Ozark cruiser tomorrow to do a 200 series project. When I get back I’ll be taking the Seminole 45 to Florida. I sure as hell hate to leave it this close to finished.

I lied. Started thinking about what would hold me up that I can get handled while I was away.

We are going to reuse the old exhaust. It was pretty new. The wizard is going it stick that all together for me while I’m away.

Also I put the Tom Woods shafts in to make sure they were right. All good.

The Wizard finished up the stock carrier delete kit. Normally my patina trucks don’t need anything here but this truck is so “painted” I had to have something cool made.

These will be painted body color.

This keeps from having to take the truck to a paint shop

Any chance the Wizard wants to make a couple of sets? I’d gladly buy some if they were available.

Back on this one, hopefully for a final push.

Picked up the pockmarked rusted out, randomly drilled out transmission hump and plates.

Also, while I was in Florida I grabbed this fabulous bumper in person from @OPMACHINE

Added the beautiful Koito H4s and bolted the face on this ole girl.

What fan/shroud/radiator combination did you find to fit with the 2f in the 71?

Got the 40 series top cover installed and pulled the hump one last time to get a bit more clearance and install the boots.

This stuff is in place for good.

Also got the fuel tank and fuel pump hoses in place and got the passenger seat in for good.
