Super late to this conversation, and new to the forum. I have a FJ60 project and I’m looking for a pair of the rocker trim. If anyone has a line on some, I’m a buyer. I’m traveling right now but I’ll post some pics of my project with the next week.
Post "Wanted Ad" in the Classifieds section.

One small detail. Rubber on accelerator pedal stopper.

And these are nice.

I wonder if those seatbelt receivers can still be obtained (if they even accept the stock US spec 6x series buckles) at all. Would sure love to have a good pair of front belt receivers since mine are in really rough shape. Plus I dig the top release button rather than the center button that I've always seen.

I'm also jealous of the OEM cable lockers....

Here you can see how Euro buckles look like and you can compare. Builds - HJ60 Snow white - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/hj60-snow-white.978827/page-12#post-14758887

Scored a couple things today off a 1981 US-spec FJ60:

Tailgate “grab bar”. Did we ever figure out exactly what the purpose was?

Brown All-vinyl passenger grab bar. I thought these were metal and tan, not brown. It has a Toyota part number on it. @HemiAlex said the 62 grab bars were like this, but gray. So might this have come on this 1981 truck? Or possibly installed later? And if so what truck did it come from?

The brown grab bar was used in the brown interior FJ62's...mine has one. There just weren't as many brown interiors as gray I think, so harder to come by brown interior parts.

I think that tailgate bar is suppose to protect the glass from cargo slamming into it when the doors are shut. Maybe? I’ve defiantly slammed the glass into boxes and amps before.

I just got lucky with LH and RH front door oem regulators. A big deal for me.

Part number anywhere on it? There’s a number of late 70s early 80s Toyotas that used the shorter/wider switch used on 60s.
No, unfortunately. Yeah, I agree other Toyotas of the era shared switches..... thankfully! The seller indicated it was from an HJ60. So I think either it was in fact from a HJ60 or the owner of the HJ60 swapped it in at some point before it was parted.

How about one more fog switch. This one showed up the other day. Interesting switch. I am not 100% sure if came from a 60 series despite the seller indicating so. But its the same style as other 60 switches. So maybe.
