Definitely not. I think the principle of stuff like this was to direct air and reduce the turbulence behind the truck that would create a vacuum and reduce economy. No clue how effective something like that would be on a 6x series, but I see similar devices attached to the top rear of school busses that see highway use. I was curious years ago to see if something similar would work for our rigs, but never got motivated enough to actually experiment. Maybe one day if I'm feeling saucy and not worried about making myself look even more mental....I just saw this on Facebook. Surely these aren't OEM? View attachment 3245412
The meaning of those wind reflectors is to direct air to the rear window and keep it clean on wagons and hatchbacks. Those were popular tuning parts in 80's and 90's.Definitely not. Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer had them as options for models without a rear wiper. Grand Wagoneer version had the same wood grain vinyl as the sides did.Definitely not. They are supposed to be used in hatchback models. Then those angled ends will be somewhat horizontal. I have seen many of those in use. My friend had a pair on two of his Opel Kadetts. Tried to find a picture but did not have any.a REAR wind deflector was indeed a option on many TOYOTA SUV's and wagons 4RUNNER , and Land Cruiser did
a horizonal top one
i have never seen a side mounted one like the LC60 has going on ?

Low roof inclinometer in my 8 seater HJ61 with Camry headrests.. And sliding rear windows.View attachment 3207994
Were the mounting holes already there for it.Yes,
installed it myself ,but the low roof 24V VX models in Europe had it installed from the factory. Some GX specs also did get some of those installed.
No.ok , so those LC60 ones are original ?
How and/or where would I even find these?!?!? Part numbers or official name? Not 60-series specific but original "cut to shape" Toyota rubber floor mats.

What songs are on the cassette tape? I feel like the Plastic Jesus song from cool hand Luke should be one of them. Just to help the nerves while highway driving a stock 60, especially 2f’d models.I believe you could get these casettes from the dealer when bying a car or at some test drive events of new models.
No clue of part number. These are from a Toyota Carina II from the same era. So you need to do some junkyard digging. How and/or where would I even find these?!?!? Part numbers or official name?
Not any good songs. Just some general hits or nots from the late 80's. I have forgot to make youtube playlists of the cassettes as I promised to do.What songs are on the cassette tape? Mine are in rough shape and I never wanted to install them. They’re too bent up to sit flush. However, they are 100% there including the gaskets that mate to the body.

There are 5 clips on each side. It looks like the back end has the pilot punched for the mounting screw, but it was never fully drilled out. The end caps are crimped on by the sheet metal.

Super late to this conversation, and new to the forum. I have a FJ60 project and I’m looking for a pair of the rocker trim. If anyone has a line on some, I’m a buyer. I’m traveling right now but I’ll post some pics of my project with the next week.Snake blinders (rocker trim ).
Pretty rare parts, especially i rust infested ( salt loving ) countrys and areas.
