More like this Japanese FJ62 Fire Truck. Twin headlights with the full grey trim. I’ve also seen It in Australia with grey grill and chrome headlight trim.

If you are in the US, it’s pretty much a guarantee that they’re going to 2X the price. The other issue is the quality of products can be suss, particularly buying used. And of course, there are the Western Union wire scams that happen in any country, and you have a literal mind field of issues trying to source parts.

Data is limited, but I’ve had friends reach out to a vendor that some folks on mud use in Yemen and the price was 60% cheaper for my friend. Have another friend in UAE connected with a local vendor
I talked to on Instagram. The local price was half of what he quoted me.

Yep, I’ve talked with Yemen guy (and purchased from him) as well as a few other overseas folks. Particularly in the ME the price seems highly variable. That’s business I guess haha.

I think these are awesome. I saw a truck on IG that had 2 on each side, so he could crawl up and access the roof rack. Any idea how they would mount? Just drill holes and mount with nuts and bolts? Would you need to remove the headliner or just trim pieces?

The owner of this truck said it’s original. That’s an incredible amount of effort to emboss a steering wheel. I have another guy who says he has a gray version for sale. I’m waiting for a reply on the cost as I would be interested in purchasing it for one of my projects.

Ive been waning this grill setup for my 83

I’ve thought about remaking the canvas - I already make a few canvas items. I’ll volunteer for the team.

If there is a plan to reproduce these, and I know im resurrecting an old Idea, I have a suggestion for upgrades.
that bend in the cable, through a bracket, and through the slot in the structural member, THats begging to destroy cables like in the photos.
They make jacketed cable assemblies, as well as teflon based cable liners. I used to work for a cable manufacturer, that stuff is easy to come by.

Got zero interest after I made that post unfortunately. I hear you about using a cable housing though. Good idea.
