Yep, by body chop I assume you mean body mount chop. It may get a little more involved than just a chop on the front of the body mount, and by fender rolling, that may happen after fender cutting and you can add reduced up travel and not re-geared. Feel free to begin throwing things now

Keeping the AHC as long as possible. One reason for this direction was my unhappiness with how AHC rides in High mode offroad. It feels far too "oversprung", but in Normal I am really very happy. So my goal is to keep it in Normal mode offroad until a specific obstacle or drift prevents further progress or possible damage and set AHC to High just for that portion of trail. Seems to me that is how Toyota intended it to be used too.

I'm 1/32" rubbing my front sway bar with 35s, and I'm 3/8" gap from my body mounts. I can't imagine squeezing another 1" in each direction.
But bring it on, and show us how it's done!

Well, I don’t know about slapping them on, but I think with the help of some talented friends and willingness to do a few things others aren’t really comfortable doing like moving the entire body mount, I can accomplish it. We’ll see. Do you think my wife will notice

Can someone please let me know what they did, where they went to get their lockers? I'm in Richmond, VA. Slee says they can do it for $8000 and I ship my truck back and forth to them.

I'm getting mine done at Chi-Town 4x4 just west of Chicago in a couple weeks. You can ship your truck out and back and it'll still be quite a bit less than $8000. I'll let you know how it goes but I expect no drama.

FWIW Nitro sells 4.88 gears and front+rear Harrop/Eaton lockers for ~$3800. The rest is labor. The ARB air lockers are a bit cheaper if you have a compressor, but if not it's a wash once you factor in that.

I saw an LC sitting on 37s last year at expo east and he had his fenders chopped to almost the doors to open up and fit them.

Those are the 37” AT tires I had on my 100, but once one thing is comfortable I’m the type that is looking for the next step so on to the MT I hadn’t seen a cut that far back before but that is essentially what I expect mine to look like, except the 17” RW beadlock converted wheels I have. I appreciate the share. I know there are probably a lot of people not on this forum that have done some great builds too

No worries I do not doubt that Slee Off Road is wonderful and amazing. My main challenge is that I’m in Virginia. I do appreciate the clarification!

I've been happy with my Nitto RG 285/75R18 as far as off-road performance and looks go, but they seem to be wearing fast compared to my previous BFGs and Generals.

Ah that makes sense and likely explains the big difference in cost. My price is for a 2013, so no new 3rd member required

My labor quote for install of one rear locker and 4.88 gears was 12 hours. Labor rates vary by region, but the setup and install should be in that 12 hour range.

So....at $120/hour x12, plus another $1000 front locker & air compressor (for a fair comparison) + additional labor for those & that ends up a lot closer toward the estimates from @sleeoffroad etc.

$1k front locker+Compressor +manifold +mounting can be easily $1700+ additional labor.

$3800 is 2x elockers and the 4.88s if I read above correctly. No need to further load it. With tax and depending on your labor rates it should be between $5 and 6k.
