I can see the turbo, but I don't see a transmission. Is it already gone?

Intercooler fits behind grill and low in front of radiator; there's a surprising amount of dead space right in there...Obviously excited to following along and live vicariously thru you

Zoom in on last picture posted above...
You can see the warm side stainless "L" around the valve cover, then drop down the driver's side of the fan shroud; goes forward by frame rail.
Cold side return follows passenger frame rail straight back, then pops up behind/near the turbo. You can see where it's poking out (loose) for flex connection across to the intake manifold.
Downpipe near factory exhaust route, just bigger diameter with Cerakote and a woven stainless flex section.
(All that was rough-fitted and fab'd before engine disassembly.)
We definitely need some pictures and video now!
On what is likely a giant sidetrack, I saw a thing on one of these motor trend type channels about the nissan CD009 transmission (6 speed manual) from the 05-06 350Z, and its apparently popular for its cheap price and mod-ability, although its a 2WD trans and is used for LS swap stuff kit. It likely would be quite involved with a transfer case in your situation, but its an interesting trans swap option for some projects for those who like to read.
The ZF 6 speed is interesting too, no clue if either of these things would ever fit. But people sell adapters, and people sometimes make their own adapters..

This thread needs more pictures and less bull****. The picture to bull**** ratio is way off.
