what and what should that little push on connector go to on a hdt engine?
and would making that arm adjustable(turnbuckel style) limit the boost provided?

which part is the piping from the airbox to turbo and piping to intake manifold

Also anyone know where to get a cheaper adaptor(less than 170) the exhast output from the turbo, or better to just get an exhast shop to make something for it?

Cheers

Search eBay for turbo exhaust flange. I doubt an exhaust shop would design and cut a flange for less than $170

You can shorten the waste gate rod to increase boost you get before the waste gate opens, but the scope for this is very limited. If you want to mess around with boost level, get an aftermarket adjustable waste gate actuator. Kinugawa or mambatek are two sources for bolt on stuff.

There's a boost pressure signal nipple on the front of the turbo compressor housing, this gets connected to the house nipple on the waste gate actuator.

Intake air from the air filter enters the centre of the compressor housing, and exits to the manifold from the side of the compressor housing.

Find the Diesel Tech section of the ih8mud forums, go searching for pics in there
