So I decided to change up some things with the interior. My good friend @c2dfj45 was helping me with some finer details on my tan 79 series and decided to order some custom Scheelmann seats. Custom fabric, thread, no logo etc. A few weeks ago I figured I might just give those seats a try in this truck since it would be a little while on organizing the 79 series build. They might end up in the 79 series (or some 79 series) when it’s all said and done but....

They showed up today and I think they look great. Planning to reupholster the second row seat completely in the brown Scheelmann material with no cloth inserts. All about the details.

Got a couple more angles. The bottom cushion looks flat but that’s just the lighting and how the stitching was done.

This was a fun project and a big thanks to @jmlockwood for me run with it.....I spend hours looking at fabrics and collecting samples for various projects.......glad we got to do a one-off set of Scheelmanns. You'll never be able to have an off the shelf Scheelmann again :)

The fabric is automotive grade. It passes rub tests so it resists wear, it's UV stabilized, fire resistant, Scotchguarded AND......made in the USA.

Close up of the fabric against my very boring off the shelf Scheelmann.

Good god, that’s beautiful.

When is this thing going to be burning diesel?

Last few for today. We got an EGR delete on this build, @Onur got us the correct belt for the A/C compressor for an EGR delete.

Insane work guys, super tidy. Can I ask what clutch that is that you went with?

Trashlux in Aus sourced and sent it to us, not sure what the cover is, you can see a sticker on it in the above pic. Disc is an Aisin.

When is this thing going to be burning diesel?

Well certainly not tomorrow or the next day or even the day after that.

This is final assembly though on the power train. We still got to move trans crossmember mounts and paint fab areas before stuffing it all back in for the final time.

Cheers
