Wow, Regular wheel bearing grease for Disc breaks will do just fine. the problem I have with synthetic is the Heat it take to flow the grease. Best recommendaiton I seen so far is the red and tacky. With conventional greases, the grease starts to flow at a lower temp, thus cleaning the bearing more fully.
While synthetic grease provides some measure of protection, it does not flow(until a higher heat absorption, which does not happen till long drives). to clean out the bearing of any contamination, since the spindle can leak grease from the knucle to the wheel beaings this could be an important point, cross contamination between different greases. And if you add the cross contamination between the gear lube in the axle houseing to the knucle. to me it is better to use stuff that will flow to clean the bearing. That is why Toyota states in it's FSM to pack about 2/3 full of wheel beariong grease. As for Adjusting the wheel bearings. A whole different ball game.
I can expand, Let me know If that is a good thing. cheers, Robbie
