A better walk around video, the Cruiser went to the interior shop today so there won’t be a ton of content until they are done.

Is it considered inappropriate if I find this extremly sexy ?

On a serious note thanks for sharing this, trully worth documenting this process.

Unmatched level of details in your builds. Painting the upper door frames, B-pillar and the rear cargo window surround gloss black instead of flat or satin was a great idea. It gives the 80 a modern updated paint scheme.

And it can be polished. 😁

Where did you find that?

Japan. Trying to get x2 more, one for my Cruiser. As you know it is the only way to get the gasket.

Wow, really? That doesn't bode well for my Pacific NW Cruiser.

The gasket is bonded to the glass. Toyota only sells it as an assembly with the glass.

Excellent score. That number would not come up for me.

63201-60023 went away a couple years ago. I never encountered a 60024.

Gathering from reading the entire thread, no off topic and don't dare ask about parts or where to resource them. Noted. Wouldn't want to be chastised for knowledge gain or curiosity. But hey, solid work and BEAUTIFUL job. Thats allowed, right? Forums are weird anymore.

I think the gist is to not litter the build thread. I got the snark, but there was useful info in the snark that pointed me in the right direction, so 1), I got what I needed after being pointed in the right direction and 2) didn’t “litter” the build thread further with my tangent.

My tangent went toward a more relevant thread.

Lots of levels of experience in this forum, I just took it as learning what to ask where.

In the end, I got the help and learned to maybe ask it differently the next time.
