Did you buy a new factory front axle that comes with the iirc additional gusset plate for greater strength per the 105?

Stating obvious, but there is no rebuild I’ve seen here as thorough as this. 💪🏼

No, just running 105 spindles otherwise all 80-series on housing, shafts, birfs, hubs, brakes, ect. Even retained the stock gears.

Cheers

Most excellent work.!!!

End of day photo bomb! 🤗

One, maybe two more rounds of body parts left for paint. The doors and hood got done over the weekend, let them cure all day today.

What an amazing wealth of experience, attention to details and superb explanation / pics and videos.

This is so inspiring ! I am going to follow a lot of the methodology done here for my project.

Truly appreciate sharing this an absolute work of art.

Another round of photo dump. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Bit different in the shop under florescence light. That is how 6M1 is though. Some people hate it and some people love it. I am a fan of 6M1, my 95’ is 6M1. 😆

Original hard fuel lines all cleaned up and installed under the floor. As you have probably noticed we decided to not paint/clear the Lizardskin under the body.

We want to get the fuel tank installed (last few parts for it ordered) and a bit more done on body/chassis before we mate the two but that is coming soon. When ready of course! 😝
