That's for the carb cooling fan! Mine is exactly the same! Theory is to pull outside Cool are to blow on carb and manifold to prevent Vapor lock

Toyota did all that and all they really needed was a couple clothespins.

The Ford 250/300 Rosen visor system fit well.

Only to Idaho, and mostly to see if I can manage to create a CARB compliant version of the TriMeki header, and then get Jim Sickies to transfer the EO to me, so all the 2F trucks in California and Colorado can run the header.

2 short. Will replace.

Front & rear brakes look good, stops well. No leaking axle seals or rear wheel cylinders or pinions.

Greasy knuckles but no soup leaking.

Front brake lines all rotted,
front frame to axle line too short pulled tight.
Rear brake line frame to axle is rotted.

Hard line across axle needs shortening a few inches and reflared.

Front leafs are sagged about 1.5". Shackle angle is too steep. Will do a longer shackle vs new leafs. Longer shackle will decrease the shackle angle slightly, help the spring a bit.

Lowering the back would be pita and the rear shackles are at a good angle.

Measurement at ride height, vs jacked up and sitting level. Looks way better up a bit & level.

New tires are 255/85R16 on City Racer wheels.
Old were 285/75R17 on a Black Rhino “Riot” wheel.

Overall ride height didn’t really change, but the stance did narrow to resemble stock.
