For those of you who have hundy's with HIDs, where'd you mount the ballasts? There don't seem to be a whole lot of options here...

+1, lots of room and fairly shielded. Depending on which ballasts you get, worth some time to waterproof them.

placed my order for the 2.5'' ome lift! cant wait to get it, i cant think about anything else.

Started reassembling my interior today. Installing the rear 2/3 seat was a b***h because it's so heavy but I eventually lugged it in there. Also contoured the carpet to the interior and replaced all trim pieces. It looks really good and I'm happy with how much it has dried. If you saw the before photos you'd understand... I will continue to park it in my garage with doors open and fans on it for the next week or so. Tomorrow I'm doing the exterior when my HIDs come in:)

The HIDs finally came in and I got them installed with no issues. I love them! They're Kensun 6k and are, in my opinion, the best looking color. It's mostly white with not too much blue (which can get to be annoying around 8-10k if you don't have projectors).

Installed a new factory Toyota switch for the front spotlights

Also put in a new factory diff lock switch, picking up front and rear ARB air lockers this week

Ran the wires for the solenoids to my air compressor in the back, pulled the cluster and tapped into the factory locker lights. Bit of messing around there, wiring was only in place for the rear lock light so I has to split the cluster connecting plug and terminate another wire in it for the front light. I also used the Blocked Air Filter light to give me indication when the air compressor's running

I pulled the rear bumper, plasti dipped the gray faded and scratched trim and front and rear bumpers. I also trimmed the left and right lower corners of the front bumper, I was able to trim it so it doesn't look dramatic but I was able to shave almost 2" off the bottom of the bumper, figured it would help with my approach on the trails. At least until I can save for a front bumper.

keep us posted on the exhaust paint, please. I've been tempted to try that my self.

When I had my 93 MR2 turbo, I prepped and painted the full exhaust from exhaust manifold/turbo to the tailpipe in flat black VHT flameproof spray paint off the car. It looked great and did not flake from high turbo temps. I've thought about doing the LC muffler and maybe more by sanding while on truck and painting what can be seen.

I just got my 100 back from ACC over the weekend. They installed a brand new steering rack along with SuperPro poly bushings in it. Drives straight as a arrow and tight! It's very 80 like as the front suspension is really firm and translates the road better than the wandering original rack. I also did the starter, plus a few other small things to empty my spare parts in the truck: ignition cam rod, TPS, and APPS.

Installed the fridge and slide. With the right side reserved for the dog we don't have a lot of space available for other cargo!

. Looks great!
You need a top fridge shelf to maximize storage space. I'm sure this will be next on your list of things to build.

Replaced 15 year old radiator, t state and hoses. Changed oil and filter.
