Update: I decided to remove the rear seats which allowed me to pull up the carpet and matting a lot more to let dry. The left side/middle seat combo piece was a :censor: to get out cause it was so heavy. Anyway, I also got the front right headlight and side marker assemblies removed so I can drain and clean the sediment and water out of them. I also figured that while I already had the headlights disassembled I should order a pair of Xentec 6000k HIDs to install since I had the chance. They should arrive around the same time the car is dry enough to reassemble so that should work out great. I'll add more pics when I install the HIDs and when I start reassembling.

Update: For those of you who know I sunk my Hundy in the creek a few weeks ago, I finally got to bring her home! Now begins the drying process....
Remove the two front seats - 4 bolts and 1 wire harness connection each. Remove all the carpets from the truck, clean and dry them. You will be much happier with the results. You'll be able to thoroughly dry the interior this way and now's a good time to run any electrical to the rear for accessories.

I agree with robred

When i sunk mine, THAT NIGHT i had the interior completely ripped out and vacuumed. I left the truck idling for 6hrs straight with the AC on and heater full blast not on recirc mode. It got EXTRA toasty and dry in there. That was only to dry out the electronics. The mat got a total shampoo and was left to dry in the tx sun for 3 days. That was 2 years ago, no problems since.

I just purchased a 2000 Land Cruiser with 92k on the clock. It's good to have another Cruiser back in the family.

Had the 90k service done (replaced transfer case fluid, engine coolant, timing belt, water pump, differential fluid, oil and oil filter, and thermostat) windshield chip repaired, mudflap repaired, and replaced brake fluid.

Did this a couple months ago...but now it's thoroughly field tested :D Was tired of the anemic glove box illumination from Mr. T. Tried a couple different LED bulbs but not much better really. So finally put a strip in and voila: No more illumination problem for the glove box.

Final touches of electrical work before our big trip out west!

Camp lights for the perimeter:

Work lights mounted on swing out highlighting the rear deck, drawers and ground.

Switches mounted at the Rear. (Thanks to the Forum and OTTRATW for these babies!)

And finally, the brake controller for the Chaser... many folks highly recommended having this for the big hills out west and for modulating terrain off-road.

Finally got around to dropping her off at my trusted body shop for some ding/dent work.

Nice switches cboyd.
What's behind that panel?

What's behind that panel?

There is nothing behind that panel normally, but now there is a fuse panel distribution block, manual isolator switch and some relays.

There will also be a Kenwood D710 HAM radio mounted back there, but I just didn't get to it yet...

The distribution panel connects with #4 wire with fuse protection (50A both ends of the run) to the the dual battery under the hood.

Using the power pole connectors I can input for charging (solar or AC trickle) or offload power at 30A to external inverter, trailer, accessories, etc.

Please post up what you used that is fantastic!

For those of you who have hundy's with HIDs, where'd you mount the ballasts? There don't seem to be a whole lot of options here...

Official Jeep Recovery Vehicle

Mine came with it from factory and the ballasts are installed under the headlight housing.

Interesting. I was not aware that HID's were even an option offered on any of the RoW 100 variants. Then again, we rarely get some of the kewler options due to myriad reasons...

Does anyone know if the Morimoto (forgive any spelling butchery) or any of the other aftermarket kits are based off OEM?
