The kids called and the electric is back up and running. they all came over today and showered, it's a good feeling knowing I had it covered. The generator ran perfect, no complaints. I'm going to do some maintenance on it before covering it up, oil, filters, etc. This will be a good topic around the campfire on the Pig Party. Back to work!

That is some kinda set up, envious for sure.

Storms rolled though last night around 2am, woke up little before 5 with cpap trying to smother me since power was out. Got up, took 4 wheeler to gate so power company could check lines and walked back into trailer and power was on again.

Was thinking couple days ago how best to create way to manually operate the wells. Well sitting in my shop now looked over at Kim’s lightly used spin bike and there’s my answer!

Finally accomplished massive task of moving old 5 wheel off mom and dads area. Tucked back behind house for last 6 years it had seen better years. Sold at fire sale to Kim’s employee who lost house in grass fire couple months ago.

Replaced all wheels and tires 3 weeks ago when dry enough. Pushing pulling the large jack under the trailer in soft dirt wore me out. Of course dad adamant it didn’t need tires. Apparently he doesn’t remember our 3 flat tire escapade 17 years ago on way to Wisconsin in 100 degree weather on our man trip with my young son to air show.

After tires, more rain where I couldn’t get it out. Dad pushed me hard to put 5 wheel hitch in truck since I had to remove tool box but I finally did it. Backed up to trailer and slides still out. Asked dad about them, no big deal gentle push and they will go back in. Well 4 trips later by nicest mobile RV repair guy in the world and they finally went back in. Then more rain. Last Wednesday I successfully pulled it out then this morning took it to its new home.

No title as I learned later cause dad didn’t want to pay $25 for someone to come out and do Vin inspection. This morning I ask about keys, no keys.

At least it’s off my property and someone in need has clean place to stay,

Miss my Dad 😘. My Hero 👨‍🚒🔥
Man, my Dad just came out for the boy’s HS graduation.
He traveled just about all day to get here from Alaska. And he is moving a little slower than the last time I saw him
The longer I live, the more I appreciate Dad and Mom.

Topping off a crazy busy last couple weeks my lab got sick Sunday. Wife took her to vet Monday where identified large liver mass causing her issues.

Been a wonderful afternoon after work treating her like a queen. She was feeling better today, digging some serious nice holes in search of moles. Took a great ride around farm little while ago.

Gonna miss her, she is so attached to me Kim would have to get in bed early in order to lay next to me. If not quick enough Sadie made the spot next to me hers.

Tomorrow is her final day with us, always part of the family!

Mans best friend for sure!

Sorry Jon,

It seems much harder as we get older in my thinking. Went thru this a few months ago. Our dog Ruby is still depressed. Trying to find her an adult friend…a lab is our preferred choice….not as easy as I had believed.

Best to you guys

Originally not a support dog fan Kelsey’s situation with anxiety/depression since she developed her epilepsy has opened my eyes. 2 weeks ago we found Marley through lab rescue here in Oklahoma.

She will be doing some obedience training and take her to college when she goes back the end of July. We hit a home run with Marley.

Sorry to hear about Sadie Jon. We have a 2 year old English Cocker named Sadie. I hate making that trip to the vet with a passion but sometimes there's just no other good option.
