This is a Toyota Land Cruiser BJ 41 diesel with right hand drive, 24 volt system. It is mechanically sound with little surface rust. It starts up every time. I use it as a daily and have never had an issue with it. The four wheel drive system works great (was pulling new 4x4s out of the snow over winter). It has the 2B diesel engine which runs like a top and it will go forever if taken care of.
The body is in good shape with only a little rust in the usual cruiser spots. The hard top comes off with only a little time and effort (see pictures). All the glass and seals are in good condition. Looking to trade, or sell my 1998 M3 for a nice FJ40 to compliment the 100 I already have.
The M3 is Hellrot red over black leather interior. The car is a weekend toy and doesn't see bad weather. It's been meticulously owned and maintained by myself. All preventative maintenance has been done on the car and it needs nothing as of right now.
It has a few modifications:
-H&R sport springs (I have the original springs)
-UUC Swaybarbarian swaybars
-Active Autowerkes replica cat back kit
It runs very strong and gets extremely good gas mileage if you keep your foot out of it.
I'm looking for a late 70's, or early 80's FJ40 that's in good condition.

Bought this Cruiser for the wife and it has been our daily driver since we purchased it 6 months ago. The miles are high, but this Cruiser is a real ‘head turner’ with nice paint and very few minor surface rust spots on the exterior. I've found an LX 470 I would like to purchase so I am posting my 80 up for sale to see if there is interest. Currently has 112,700 miles. Purchased from original owner with 102,000. The only reason i am selling it is because I would like a newer looking more comfortable vehicle that I can tow with. Does not have lockers but I installed a CDL switch. Has been fully maintained by the original owner and I. Original owner serviced vehicle at T & B in Los Angeles and Dealership. PHH has been done inner axle seals and headgasket have not.

As posted earlier by my brother last week, i have a 1998 4Runner with 227K miles which was T-boned recently on the driver side front end. It has been an everyday driver for the last 4+ years, when i bought it with 150k miles.
As you will see in the pictures, the only damage is to the front driver side. The radiator is toast, along with a fan blade or two. Not sure of the extent of damage to the steering mechanism, but as of right now she is not drivable.
This would be a great project truck or if you are desperate for 4Runner parts, everything else on it is in awesome shape - especially the interior. The tires have a few years on them and are in great condition.
