San Diego area test only smog shop

Any recommendations? The shop I used to go to closed and it seems like most of the techs have never seen a carburetor or driven a manual transmission. Rebuilt but stock motor, true 33"s with stock gearing and an H55 to throw off the ratios.

I always use the Poway Smog Station (in Poway…) for my 80 Series. The 62 will head over there when roadworthy.
Family and friends have used them for years.

Where in SD County? Shop in Vista, Auto Precision, 760-630-3377. Not an 'official' smog shop but he can tell you anything you need to know. Owner's name is Luke.

Unfortunately I am in Point Loma but willing to drive and know I need some freeway miles before the check. I like the sdtruckshop but difficult to drop off during their business hours. Thanks for the suggestions.

I used a couple years ago. Probably have changed hands by now but there used to be a bunch on Convoy, Balboa & Claremont Mesa.
