As expected, she is about as quick as a box of hammers rolling up a hill. Other than some superficial rust on a few fasteners, there is nothing substantial to note. The frame is solid. I have a 1995 Jeep YJ that I am selling. It has the 2.5L 4cyl with an automatic transmission. Atlas 4.3 transfer case, High Angle Driveline drive shafts. Both axles are Toyota....yes, you read that correctly.
Front axle - Hi-pinion third with Detroit and 5.29 gears. Driver side drop Diamond Axle housing with a truss. All studs are ARP, has RCV shafts and Birfields.

My dad is selling his really clean XJ on BaT right now. The first owner passed away 12 years ago and my dad bought it from the first owner's widow's estate about a year ago.
It is a NE truck but there is very little rust. I have done extensive maintenance under this XJ and it is definitely cleaner than my 100-Series (which itself was very solid). It has since been fully undercoated to preserve the rust-free state.

We upgraded my wife into a newer vehicle and one that I fit in a bit better. As a result, we are selling the LS430 that we've enjoyed for the last two years. We bought it soon after moving to CA and bought it from a local, although the LS had lived it's live in SoCal. It had about 93k when we bought it and it has around 108k on it now.
Maintenance is largely up to date. Front end has had a few parts replaced (mostly steering by the prior owner or the dealer he bought it from) and I replaced the front lower control arm bushings that are known to go out on these.
I'll include a sunshade made for the LS and the full factory service manual.

I'm well into the planning of a 3 months Overlanding trip to Central Asia (the goal is the Pamir highway). I'm going to purchase the vehicle in France and for the past 2 months have had my mind set on an HJ80. However, I just saw the prices of Nissan Patrols Y60 and they are around 50% cheaper..
Question 1: Why are they so much cheaper? Is it just a brand thing as the mechanical elements seem very similar?
Question 2: Are Nissan patrols common to some extent in central Asia (Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadjikistan) ?
I've really looked extensively around for answers to these questions but have found no recent thread or other information sources. Thank you so much in advance for any answers.

Here is a rare 1985 1st gen. Mitsubishi Pajero Highroof for sale.
