We upgraded my wife into a newer vehicle and one that I fit in a bit better. As a result, we are selling the LS430 that we've enjoyed for the last two years. We bought it soon after moving to CA and bought it from a local, although the LS had lived it's live in SoCal. It had about 93k when we bought it and it has around 108k on it now.
Maintenance is largely up to date. Front end has had a few parts replaced (mostly steering by the prior owner or the dealer he bought it from) and I replaced the front lower control arm bushings that are known to go out on these.
I'll include a sunshade made for the LS and the full factory service manual.
I have this listed on Craigslist and will entertain a discounted price for mudders that are active...

I'm well into the planning of a 3 months Overlanding trip to Central Asia (the goal is the Pamir highway). I'm going to purchase the vehicle in France and for the past 2 months have had my mind set on an HJ80. However, I just saw the prices of Nissan Patrols Y60 and they are around 50% cheaper..
Question 1: Why are they so much cheaper? Is it just a brand thing as the mechanical elements seem very similar?
Question 2: Are Nissan patrols common to some extent in central Asia (Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadjikistan) ?
I've really looked extensively around for answers to these questions but have found no recent thread or other information sources. Thank you so much in advance for any answers.

My aunt died here locally in Santa Rosa, CA. Selling for my cousin, who lives in Colorado. Truck is a 2015 with 52k on the clock and in excellent mechanical shape. She towed a 5th wheel horse trailer with it for less than the 5k miles she owned it as second owner. Carfax showed a rear end hit before she bought it. Assuming it's just the bumper that got replaced. Interior is in great shape but needs cleaned.
Truck is 2WD with a short bed, crew cab, etc. Good value for what it is. Only damage is a scrape on the driver door and both c pillars took a hit from her horse trailer. As a work truck or excellent priced Toyota this thing would be a no brainer for most of us. If I liked Tundras (have a F350) I would buy it from my cousin.

Posting for my brother. 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 regular cab 4WD with 5 speed manual transmission with around 135k miles. Truck is in great shape and spent the majority of its life up in the PNW. Body and frame are solid, rust free minus some surface on the frame. Brother bought it and has since realized owning an older vehicle isn't for him, thinks it is cool but doesn't have any interest in driving it and trying to get back into something newer. I've driven it around a bit and everything is real smooth and solid.
Got a full fluid flush and gone through by the local Chevy dealer and got a clean bill of health, everything looked good.
