Is it safe to assume that it is an 8 inch wide wheel?
Looks to be yes

Big thanks to Nolen for hosting us today. Me and the girls always enjoy visiting Tilda Bogue. If you’ve never been, find a reason to go, the place is incredible.

Picked upped the Kush and dropped off the LX.

This truck is a dream. Could not be happier! So thankful for these guys helping me make this a reality.

Stopped and grabbed a burger at Krilakis in Ridgeland, MS. Highly recommend the 2 cheese burger and gyro burger! Fantastic.

Found some really nice ferns at Donna’s #6 off Hwy 49, 3 miles south of Florence.

Made it back home to Mobile AL just before dark. This truck is smooth as butter. What a joy it is to drive a manual 100. I believe this truck will be with me for a very very long time!! Absolute perfection.

Welcome to the club. I picked my 100 up from Nolen and took it home to Boise. Love at first drive. Enjoy!

If you got pulled over I could see a young state trooper being confused about a vehicle with plates from a different country and plants in the back.

Looks like an epic Saturday for dad and daughter. Congrats. I bet your face is hurting from all that smiling.

Roll Tide!! On the way home, I passed a couple of sheriffs and couldn’t help but wonder what was going through their minds. Thankfully I didn’t get stopped!

The beautiful weather made the trip even better. It turned out to be a day I’ll never forget and one I’ll always cherish.

Beautiful truck and awesome thread! Id be lying if I said I wasn't a bit jealous

@Meshal maybe you can help me with this one. I’m experiencing a squeal coming from what sounds like the A/C compressor pulley or belt when I get on interstate. When I don’t run the A/C or the cool box the squeal does not happen. If I run the a/c and cool box together it happens less frequently than it does if I just run the a/c by itself.

I took it to a shop here locally and they checked it. Told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with it other than they claimed compressor was over charged. They recharged it. And cleaned what they claimed looked like some oil from the compressor off the belt.

I left and all was good but a day later the noise returned. The sound is sporadic. Honestly it sounds like a slipping belt. I bought the silicone stuff @wngrog has that he put on belt when I left his place but it’s not working at making the sound go away.

Once I get RPMs up to about 3k it will do it. Off and on. But then when I get to town it will do it off and on just putting around town. I can not figure it out.

A/C blows cold. As does cool box. But it only will make the sound if the A/C is on. I recorded a video of it that I’ll post but it’s hard to hear.

9 to 10 second mark and 39 to 40 second mark is when you can hear it

I think my guy didn't tighten the belt enough.
It seems pretty tight. I know @wngrog tightened one of them. There’s not much slack at all in the ac belt but I’ll try tightening it some more. I watched a video on how tight it should be and it seems right. I’ll crank on it some more though and see what happens.

Nice thing about being deaf is that I could not hear that on your video.

I tightened the belts but only but only the tensioner on the double belts.

Gotta ge the clutch for the AC huh?

FYI I bought a new compressor for mine out of UAE and it did not come with the clutches so I ended up buying a Denso for a US spec 1997 80 series and the AC guy robbed all he needed of of it.

The compressor itself because we have dual aC is different.

I’ll go back and read your thread on it. So you’re saying buy the Denso and rob from the existing one OR that I need to buy both?

No if you are cooling you don't need both. Mine took a dump. Had to but the whole thing and was too stupid to know that Toyota does not sell them loaded. It was cheaper to buy the Denso local and rib parts

Replaced rear latch mechanism on back door that was sticking

Moved the pro clip mount to other side. Had the same one @wngrog has but my shifter seems to be higher than his. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I was always hitting my phone and knocking it off while shifting. This one fixed that problem.

Replaced gold Toyota emblem in grill with a fresh new one.

Didn’t take a pic of the new latch only the old one, BUT look how clean it is inside there. After I wiped the dirt off, it looked brand new. Replaced the whole mechanism and all is good now.
