we found a very nice sealed ball bearing that fits perfectly with a flanged lip that can be easily tack welded to the tube.thats good cause if that was sitting proper somethin was way off. Curious what you do to retain the bearing in the shaft tube in the engine bay ? I pushed the bearing into tube an 1/8th inch and peened the tube in a few spots. I have seen a collar that locks onto the shaft, just curious.
