I'm selling my 1973 Land Rover Series III. It is registered in California and does not need smog. Reg. is curret until August 2012. It runs like a champion. Body is very straight, high and low gears work. Canvas top is new. Original canvas top is included as well along with some extra bows. Includes heavy duty military hitch. Everything works in this truck including the gauges.
The front doors can use some TLC but the truck has NO rust whatsoever. None. Nothing on the body, nothing on the underbody, nothing. The previous owner spend $12k on this after it was imported. I bought it from him after he had a heart attack, and now my girlfriend will give me another heart attack if I keep this around along with my other toys. I guess when she said she wanted a Land Rover, this wasn't the one she meant.

I am NOT an expert on these particular trucks by any means but will be happy to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. I also have a m416 military trailer for sale that I used with this truck. Mint condition. $1800 obo for the trailer.
