Nice slide table! If someone didn't know better they might take you for a trim carpenter.
I was going to make a comment - its always cool to see wood workers when they get into metal fab. It's quite the opposite experience when you see structural steel guys get into working with wood, we are hacks!

A little more work on the sway bay end links

Tomorrow I just need to hot glue them 😁

One side is threaded the other is counter sunk to make the smallest package possible.

Finally going back together 😎

Went to hang out at my good friends shop last night and check out the progress on his Buggy. It a ground up build, He designed the chassis himself and is doing all the fab work. Very impressive !!

Richard, do you have any photos showing the interior? Interested in seeing more details on his cutting brake setup if you have them. That is a sweet looking buggy!

Sorry I don’t
I can tell you that it all custom he designed the levers and had them CNC cut.
He did say that hydraulics are the same ones @woody used on his Buggy. Full build thread on Rock Crawler.Com

Impressive indeed! Of course I assume there will be an FJ40 grill attached when he’s done 😆

Thought I would share some life updates 😎
My daughter has been living in Europe for the last 5 years.
She’s has been trying to get us to visit for a while now.
We finally jumped the pond ( long flight 😳 )

Landing in Frankfurt then jumped a train to Saarbrücken.
She lives there and works at the university there.
We spent a few days there while she showed us around town

She took her vacation time so she could spent it with us 💕
We all headed down to Cassis France for 5 days.
It’s amazing, stayed in a beautiful spot overlooking the Bay

Had a great time relaxing waking around town and a few hikes.

Beautiful views everywhere. This beach was a short walk down from the AB&B we stay in.

More to follow.

You made it, enjoy the ride...

Just finished reading my way through this build thread. Amazing work on the 80 @Broski . I also enjoy mixing of updates on your Land Cruiser with life & family stuff. You're doing it right, keep up the good work! Inspiring for hacks like me.

Agreed, IMO He's very modest about his design, fabrication and attention to detail skills
There all top notch professional grade. Very talented !!

I'm afraid to join another forum. I need to limited my screen time 😜

it is addicting for sure. but you can handle it.

and there are a few builds i follow and genuine try and copy or replicate ideas from and his is one of them. so so so much detail. i loved how he was using his 3d printer to make jigs to hold tubes in the exact spot he needed them for welding and fitment up.

Little more on the trip.
After Cassis we headed to Digne, it's a small mountain City In the Alpes de Havte Provence where Gwynn taught English for a few years. She show us around to some none tourist areas that are really cool.
Penitents Des Mees There are a really cool rock formation

We hiked up and around them. The hike starts by taking you through this village. There was a sign on this street that said Cars not recommended 😂
