I need to sell my 1983 FJ 60 with a V-8 conversion, 2 /12 inch lift, 5 speed tranny. -
I am in a financial bind- I put 11k into the truck.
Selling AS IS- No E-Test
There is glitch in the fuel system on hot days that causes the truck to bog down when starting from idle.

I have an honest rust bucket beater for sale. There is not a piece of body work that does not have seriuos rust on it. Runs well though. About 216,000 miles on it, 80% were highway miles. I use it primarily in the winter for the four wheel drive and about once a week now.
A/C does not work.
Brake cylinders leak. I top off every third gas fill up or so.
Brakes are very worn.
Interior is decent.
Engine probably needs a rebuild but I would personally drive it till it dies.
When the alt died it took out the fusible link with it, melting it bad. Replaced with a Chrysler type fusible link soldered in its place. Works well.
New starter.
New Alternator.
Would be good as a cheap beater for daily driving. As a drivable parts rig...

I have a nice tow rig for sale. Bought several years ago from an auction for Florida Power. Has a new GM crate motor and transmission with two years left on factory warranty. 1987 Toyota 4-runner 4x4. Removable top. SR5. White exterior with nice grey interior. Zero rust on frame or body. Truck had very minimal rust issues when I got it. Any spots that had any rust were sandblasted and then painted with rust bullet and then painted with the factory correct color Dupont paint. Rocker panels are sprayed with 3m Rockergard. Tailgate has custom license plate holder from FJ-40. Rear window only rolls down with switch inside. Factory clinometor and factory tape deck. Hey all. my neighbor is selling his 1987 FJ60. It has 93k and two good rust spots. One is around the drivers side rear wheel well. The other is near the front drivers side fender and rocker panel. Interior looks very clean with the original radio. The frame is surface rusty, but there were no visable leaks. Sorry, I didn't write down the PH#, but I wasn't interested when I saw the $7500 price tag. I think someone could get it for alot less, so if anyone is interested I can get the number. Truck is in great condition. 216k miles (rebuilt at 160k). Very minimal rust with absolutely no holes, very solid! XM Radio included. Four wheel drive has been maintained.
