1984 FJ60, great runner! This truck runs strong! I drive it to work every day and do not have any problems with it. It leaks a little oil, but not very much. The body is a little rough, not to bad though. The rear passenger corner is a little banged up and the quarter panels have small dents, but it is just cosmetic, The front passenger fender and hood are both grey, the rest of the body is a faded Cruiser blue, with very light surface rust showing on the roof. There is NO other rust on the car. The engine runs GREAT, it has 212,000 on it and runs like a champ. If you live in a regular smog zone in California I will have it smogged for you, if you live in a smog 2 zone in California or need smog in other states it is on you. I will ship...
1985 FJ60 in Boulder Colorado. $2000
This is a 1985 Toyota LandCruiser with 201k miles. It runs well, but will not pass Boulder emissions in current condition. The last couple tanks of gas have both been about 13mpg on average (pretty good for a Cruiser). The engine runs smoothly and has good power. Both the airconditioner and heater (front and rear) work great. The air/smog pump was replaced this spring, the radiator was replaced last winter, the power steering pump last fall, and the shocks were done last spring. It has a Pioneer CD player (never skipped) and Audiobahn speakers in the front doors.
There are some small cracks in the dash, the usual LandCruiser driver's seat tear and the carpet in the cargo area has been torn by one...

It is what it is. 240,000 miles. For the most part, it's solid, and I planned to drive it on the road. There is a small patch on the inside of the frame about the size of my fist, and it will need some body fill to pass inspection. Runs good but needs a radiator. I registered it last week, but something much better has come up and I need cash fast.
And it has a new exhaust.

mechanically very sound, current DD with good reg but salvage title. owner's son spun out and hit a pole so the passenger rear quater is wasted. the rig starts, runs and drives well and straight down the road. would make a good DD, fun trail rig or a great donor vehicle. belongs to a friend of mine; he's not interested in trades, does not want to part it out and he's pretty firm on the price. but for that amount, who's gonna complain?!

No rust on main body but the tailgate and hatch were replaced by a PO with FJ60 pieces, tailgate has rust on bottom edge and both pieces have older red paint showing through. Truck was in a wreck in december, driver's door was replaced, stripped and repainted inside and out. (immediately after replacement a thoughtful member of society put two dents in the door). This truck has a little over 200k miles on it but runs like a champ, it just made a trip from Oregon to Texas and back towing a trailer with no problems. Asking $4800. Located in S. Oregon. This will be a long shot but I saw it about 7 months ago in Nashville, TN when travelling there.
I had an 85 (might have been an 86, but I was pretty sure it was an 85) FJ60 that I sold to a dealer in about 1997 when I was living in Nashville. It is the greyish blue color and had an unmistakeable custom front bumper (no brush guard at the time) with warn winch.
As well, I had converted the carb to a Holley 4 barrel with an Offenhauser Dual port intake and Downey Headers. As well, the smog pump was gutted and used as a pulley only and most of the emissions had been stripped.
I believe it has since had a lift, but it is unmistakeable (or was) under the hood. I am interested in finding the owner of this landcruiser since I saw...

Ok guys, I'm buying a house and have to pay off some other debt. So, I'm selling this cruiser (don't worry I have another). 1984 fj60, 285,000 miles or so, runs great, but doesn't always like to idle, pretty sure it's vacuum leak but haven't had time to track it down. it has some rust over the wheel wells and on the roof, the rust on the roof is pretty superficial surface rust. And I've seen wheel wells that look a whole lot worse than mine. The frame is solid, with very light surface rust in a couple of spots nowhere is the frame compromised. Has a sony Xplode stereo.
