Very clean, runs very smoothly; new main shaft seal, interior-coated fuel tank, new brakes, new rear wiper, original radio/cassette, two-tone metallic paint, spare wheel with bracket; am travelling too much, can’t give her the time she needs so she sits for too long in the NE climate, she deserves better. $12,900.
I would like a second opinion on this cruiser. I am going to look at it tomorrow morning. If you follow the facebook marketplace link there are a few more pictures as well as a description. The owner claims that (according to the carfax) a restoration was done on the vehicle at 170k in 2006 and the odometer was reset. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
Only three days left.
This Toyota Land Cruiser Could Be the Ultimate Adventure Vehicle Bargain

Selling my Krusty Cruiser.
Here we have a well loved 1987 HJ60 with 369000 km on it. It was resurrected once about 10 years ago due to a blown motor.
I had bought it with a blown 2H and then installed a very nice JDM 2H with unknown KM on it at approximately 329000km and it has performed flawlessly since and continues to do so.
I have recently done a compression test, valve set, oil change etc. on it and the compression tested out very well and even with 440 Psi + on all cylinders, it runs super smooth and performs well.
The rest of the drive line, brakes, steering etc. are all in great working condition and have been well maintained over the years.
The springs are unknown but a bit taller than stock with longer JDM shackles...
146,000 miles

I have decided to sell my 1983 Toyota FJ60. The original game plan when I bought the vehicle last year was to ultimately bring it to a friend's body shop in FL for a restoration, but life has gotten a bit more complicated with two kids in college :)
I purchased the vehicle from whom I believe was the second owner. It's been a NC vehicle since new, according to the Carfax that I have. The previous owner parked the vehicle in 2009, with the intention of "restoring it someday". That day never came, and I purchased it in 2018.
I had my mechanic do what was necessary to get the vehicle operational for the road. This included a host of new parts, including:
Shocks all the way around, plus steering damper...
Runs and drives , frame is rock solid .
250k miles bought it to restore , dot really have time for it
Truck is in Philadelphia PA
Fist $2500 takes it, will ship
Great condition Land Cruiser. 132,xxx original miles. Never taken off-road. Starts right up. Ice-cold AC. All service (with records) by Land Cruiser Specialist in Austin. OEM or better parts always used. Got a job where de-smogged will not pass inspections. I am quite sad to have to let this one go. Clean frame/body apart from some rust on the passenger side door. Rear carpet could use some love. Other than that, she has been an absolute pleasure and my daily driver.
Modifications Include:
2.5" Iron Man Suspension Lift
33" BF Goodrich KO2 All Terrain Tires
ARB Roof Rack
Custom Bull Bar
De-smogged
Matching Toyota alloy spare wheel
Repaired Dashboard
Misc spare parts including inclinometer, tool kit, brake pads, etc...
Upgraded stereo...
mprovements made in 2017:
new transmission
new front and back leaf springs
new muffler
new rear brake pads
new mass airflow sensor
cleaned and boiled out the inside of gas tank
power windows
cassette/radio (I hook my iphone right into it)

Thule racks

I am clearing out my collection of FJ60's and I have 2 left. The ones that are left are the cream of the crop. Both have been serviced to the nines by my Toyota certified Master Technician. He has been working on these beasts for 40 years. He knows his stuff. Both of these are western US vehicles so they are very solid. See the craigslist link for pictures and details. I am glad to answer any questions. Except for maybe "What is the meaning of life" or something like, "Why does my dog not growl at the mailman but he Does growl at me?"
Stuff like that is beyond my pay grade.
Thanks for looking

This is a pretty well documented forum truck. I had it shipped up from Florida in 2015. It originally started life out in Missouri before that. I basically cruise it around town in the summer and park it in the winter. Odometer shows just under 232,000. I'm not 100% sure how many miles are on the engine and trans, but I think the build thread mentions 41,000 at time of swap, so my guess is less than 80,000 on them. Original swap thread is here: Another cruiser gets a vortec

Hi guys and gals.
This is a 1-owner, no-accident, clean CarFax, California/Colorado truck that has been maintained to the highest standard. Prior to its outfitting and restoration this truck was absolutely 100% rust free; please inquire to see pre-restoration pics. This truck spent the majority of its life in California prior to the owner moving to Colorado. It was owned by a school teacher that lived only a few blocks from his school, so he walked to work most of the time, hence the low miles.
Prior to our purchase it had just received new brakes, bearings, distributor cap, battery, fuel pump, air filter and a rebuilt carb. A compression test was performed and all cylinders are at or above 150. It still has all of its original...
Pretty complete FJ62, body is pretty rough. We used to use it as a lot truck to move cars around. It has flat tires now. Pretty complete interior, solid motor and transmission. I am cleaning out my lot this summer so it has to go. It will need a new ignition as well. Prior owner lost the keys so you have to use a screwdriver to start it. I think I have the keys now but it is drilled out. I will get the tires aired up if someone wants it. It comes with a clean Montana title.

Been toying with the idea of selling for a while. Had it up on CL briefly but got swamped with tire kickers. Would like this to go to a good home if it's going anywhere.
Truck has been used, but not abused. Not a show car by any means but a nice original example. I drive it to North GA (~2h) and to go mountain biking regularly without issues.

When I purchased this the previous owner had a crate V6 installed and it only has about 1400 miles on it.
The hood has an area where the paint is peeling, I was going to wrap it but didn’t want the new owner to think I was covering it up. I priced it out and it would be less than $300 to have someone do it. This is priced with that...
Tastefully upgraded with color matching 17" wheels and 37" Tires. Suspension had been lifted already with OME springs and I have added some new AGX shocks. Nitro 4.88 Pinion Gears front & rear including bearings have been replaced to help the 3FE scoot down the highway. 1989 HJ61 Toyota Land Cruiser. RHD Japanese Domestic Model VX Limited 4WD 12H-T Diesel Engine.
Mechanically this vehicle is sound, new exhaust system was just put in (May 2019), the 12H-T fires clean, automatic transmission turns before 2500 rpm. It burns a little rich but starts at altitude, and can be adjusted if living at sea level. It is sitting on BFG AT 33’s with less 16,000 miles on them. Brake shoes and pads in the rear and pads in the front were replaced in the last two years. It has Old Man Emu Suspension with stock lift, operable PTO winch, and everything you need to take this on your next domestic expedition.
The truck was purchased and imported from Japan in May 2014. The Beige paint is believed to have been re-painted...
After driving this Jewel for 2 years and smiling every time I start the motor, I am ready to move on to another project! It took 2 1/2 years to get it complete but ready to let someone who doesn't want to go through the brain damage and down time to step in and drive it away.

Selling the family car after the death of my father in law. My wife would like to keep it for sentimental reasons, but it's not practical for us right now. In 2017, it went to my sister in law in Washington because she was going to be using it as it was intended to be used, in the outdoors, but circumstances change over time and it was sent down here a couple weeks ago to be prepped to be sold. That's the short as to why there are Washington plates that are expired. The idea is to sell it to someone who will appreciate it like my father in law, not to make a quick sale to be rid of it.
I have a craigslist ad to better explain other items on it, so I will attach the link there. My biggest question is am I shooting too much? Too low? Are...
