Been toying with the idea of selling for a while. Had it up on CL briefly but got swamped with tire kickers. Would like this to go to a good home if it's going anywhere.
Truck has been used, but not abused. Not a show car by any means but a nice original example. I drive it to North GA (~2h) and to go mountain biking regularly without issues.
1985 FJ60
NEW Goodyear tires (seriously, just bought them, maybe 100 miles on them)
OME Lift Kit
Fresh tie rod ends (installed) and drag links (need installed)
De-smogged
Braking system redone
ARB front bumper (on the truck)
Stock front bumper (new, in the box)
Hella lamps
NEW throttle linkage (very nice, got it from someone on this forum that refurbs and plates them)
New plugs, distributor cap, rotor
Fresh bulbs all around (LED's in the rear and in the cab)
Radiator's been replaced
Clear title in my name
Lots of other little stuff
~280k and counting as I drive it at least once a week
Cons:
Hood and roof were repainted at some point, not a perfect match (included some older photos to show the paint)
Sometimes takes a few cranks to get it started if it's been sitting
Steering could stand to be tightened up a little more (perhaps with a good alignment)
Chip in the windshield (I hope to get this fixed in the next week or two. Got a rock from a dump truck a couple weeks ago
)
Lots of lil dings and dents from normal use
