Looking to buy an FJ60 that is in decent shape. I am looking forward to working on it so something that needs some love would be perfect. Have been waiting to buy one of these for a long time because I lived in NYC where cars are silly to have. No that I am in Portland Oregon, well, its time to buy.

I'm the second owner of this 62. Orginal purchased from Burke Toyota in Denver. Frame ws in pretty good shape, a few rust spots. First was on the passanger side fender. I ended up ripping it out when trying to take the snake binding off. I've ground the rust down with a wire wheel and put naval jelly on it. The rear passanger had some rust around the rear wheel. I grinded that down as well. I covered it in herculiner.

Newer Ultra Heavy OME kit. CS005F with all the fixings.

This truck has been my daily driver for the last 5 years or so. Has some rust and a few dents but is in decent condition for a truck of this age. Mechanically sound. Runs strong. Clutch and 4WD work great. Needs smog pump. Selling due to moving out of state.

I have a 1988 fj62 with a 3" add-a-leaf shackle combo lift, 32" a/t's with black rock crawler rims, beefed rear bumper with room for tire swing out, roof rack, nice ipod compatible stereo, exhaust rerouted so its not running under the frame ready to get crunched.
175000 miles.
The former owner must have drug it along some barbed wire of something because there are some scratches along the pass side. Some paint fading on the food and minor rust around the window and button on the rear upper hatch. I have pictures of all of those blemishes.
The interior is in good condition other the the drives seat has some tears.
It has no fuse box cover for the interior fuses due to my fat friend sitting on it.

Im looking to sell my 89 fj62 .. Recently had the transmission replaced, torque converter, and A/c serviced. It has had a lower milage engine swapped out, front end serviced, and pretty much up to date on maintaince. It has 33 inch all terrains with good tread and ill throw in the original rims. Theres minor rust on the driver side fender, and door but can easily be fixed, could use a wheel balance, and alignment. But as for the flaws...

I fell in love with Landcruisers over a year ago, finally found one, made the purchase only to find out out 6 months later that I will be relocating and will not be able to take my toys with me. Oh well, such is life. In a few years I should be back and will hopefully find another. Im asking what I have in the vehicle, Im not making any profit whatsoever, just trying to clear up my inventory of toys. ( Also have a 68 volkswagen beetle on ebay if anyone is interested)

I have an 87 FJ60 that was traded in on my Exo'd 80...
It runs and drives real good but the harmonic balancer is a little warped which is causing the motor to vibrate a little at certain rpm's. A new HB is over $500 wholesale then several hours to install it! I have an ASE certified Master tech that can install this or you can buy/trade "as is"!
I gave the po $3300 for the 60 plus I have already put a new smog pump bearing in it! I now have about $3500 in the 60 and I will sell it for that with out the new HB....Or I can put the new HB in and the price would be $4200!!
I would like to work out a trade on a STOCK FJ62, FJ80 or FZJ80...if it's a 62 it MUST have power windows, locks...etc!

Checkout my ad on craigslist. I have been having a hard time getting the cruiser to stay running. Engine works great, but seems to stall. I think something is wrong with the carb or fuel line. I have made a lot of fuel line improvements but still can't get it to run right. A great rig to part out or spend some time fixing. I am moving and am unable to take it with me since I will no longer have a driveway or shop.

1982 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60 4X4 with 167,000 Miles. These trucks normally go far beyond 200K miles, so this truck has low miles for a Landcruiser)
It has a 4.2 liter Straight 6 cylinder engine, 4 Speed Transmission, 3 speed transfer case (2HI, 4HI, 4LO).
Good:
Interior is in excellent condition minus tear in the driver’s seat (not bad). All the electronics and gauges work (radio, front & rear heat/AC, wipers front & rear, rear defrost)
Bad:
Has normal Landcruiser rust (Peach Auto Painting quoted about $300 for a new paint job so this could be repaired fairly cheap), missing spare tire, missing jack
New Parts:
Fuel pump, fuel sending unit, fuel filters, fuel lines, air filter, head lights, PCV valve, recent exhaust...
1983 FJ60- 4 inch springs, soa kit, cut and turned front axle for caster, shackle reversal kit, bilstein shocks, 5 brand new goodyear wrangler mtr tires, has 6 to 1 header, flowmaster muffler, 2.5 in exhaust, new radiator, electric fans, had carb and fuel tank redone, recent tune up(all oem), interior has been undercoated all that remains are the seats and dash, brand new hi lift jack, does burn a little oil 1 quart every 1k, needs a little bit of tlc to be back on road and reliable. All work was professionally done here in phoenix AZ. No rust at all, no cracks in glass, body in great shape, Always wanted to build up a Fj wagon but now what something else. I have a 1983 fj60 I am selling as a parts truck, but if you have the parts this may be a steal for you. I suspect it has a blown head gasket, but it has not been to the shop yet. Coolant is in the oil. Everything else works except for the tach and the odometer. Odometer says 133XXX, and previous owner says it stopped working when the wiring harness was replaced less than 6 months ago. some rust, but it is still at a very manageable stage. Make me an offer. If you reach that magic number, I will give in.
If I don;t get a good enough offer I will part out.

Wow! It has been a really long time since I posted on this site, things have changed since I was last around. Some of you might remember the Legendary Land Cruisers documentary I made a few years ago now. Sadly my site went down and I lost the URL a long time ago and thus rendered all my hard work in advertising useless. That said, if anyone wants a copy I still have many and they are available at Specters and Slee.
Anyways, to the point. Sadly both my father and I are in positions where it has come time to move on from two of our trucks. We will again drive cruisers in the future, but for now need to off load some gear. I have some questions about selling and some info on the trucks.

I am trying to guage interest in my rig as I am trying to determine whether or not to sell this rig whole or part it out. The truck has significant rust on both the body and the frame. I bought the truck from the original owner about 3 years ago. In that time I have done the following.
Replaced the transmission with a used tranny i found here on Ih8mud. This tranny has slipped between 2nd and third gears ever since i put it in, but it has not gotten any worse over these 3 years. It slips for a second and then catches right away. It works perfectly other than that.
Replaced the exhaust from the manifold back. Switched it to a single dual inlet/single out cat with the tail pipe coming out behind the rear driver side tire...
