UPDATED PRICE REDUCTION. ALSO THE SNOW IS GONE, I CAN TAKE MORE/BETTER PHOTOS IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE MORE.
I fell in love with Landcruisers over a year ago, finally found one, made the purchase only to find out out 6 months later that I will be relocating and will not be able to take my toys with me. Oh well, such is life. In a few years I should be back and will hopefully find another. Im asking what I have in the vehicle, Im not making any profit whatsoever, just trying to clear up my inventory of toys. ( Also have a 68 volkswagen beetle on ebay if anyone is interested)

Ok so here goes........

1985 FJ60 asking $5,600

THE GOOD: This vehicle runs very well, I use it for weekends, sometimes daily driving and camping trips. I have taken this on many trips over 200 one way miles in the mountains and have all the confidence in its performance ( other than its a dog goin up hills. 2F engine) I can cruise on highway at 65 mph all day long, vehicle does not wander off the road, drives very well.
The motor has 178,xxx miles, runs great, temp and oil pressure all within proper range. I purchsed this almost a year ago and since then have installed new plugs, wires, clutch fan, battery. Other then that, the majority of the work has all been done by the PO.
Everything works perfectly fine, 4x4, hi and lo, all gauges, lights, parking brake, interior lights. Passed the WV inspection with no problem whatsoever. I also installed a bed platform for my camping trips.
There has been alot of work performed on the vehicle by the previous owner, and I do not know every detail. Partially repainted ( he did body work and cut out rust spots on the rear quarter panels and replaced with sheet metal I'm guessing this is why the bottom of the vehicle has this paint scheme. Probably couldn' t match the paint and didn't want to paint the entire vehicle. I dont know exactley but looks like it was done right. all sheet metal, no bondo), it was lifted, installed a winch (9,000 lb no name brand, cheaper China made) , brush guard, new exhaust, and the TRD sticker on the back ( see pics, dont ask me why??? lol)
The interior is in amazing condition, it looks like a vehicle that is only a few years old, not 25. Everything...seats, dash, carpet are in excellent condition. ( I'm posting pics, the only tear is the typical spot on the side of the drivers seat.

THE BAD: Although the vehicle runs great and could be an everyday driver no problem. The carb needs adjustment, as it seems to run a little rich. I am not a carb man but think the jets are two large. As I have the mixture screw all the way in. It hasn't been a issue to me, and since it runs great, I don't want to mess with it.
The frame had typical rust spots and had been repaired by PO. I still think that there are a few areas, that could use a little more doctoring. I have attached pics of the frame. What I mean by that, is there are areas that were in fact repaired, but I would like to see a little more attention to them, just to be safe.
The drivers side mirror was hit ( less then a week ago) and is broken off. Not sure how it happend?? I came out one day from the parking lot and the mirror was intact but obviously hit and broken?

I am going to attach as many pics as I can. I have tried to include everything that I can think of. If I am missing something or need to further explain, please ask. Be trueful fellas, if the asking price is unrealistic let me know ( I'm not saying I will drastically reduce, I need to recoup my cost, but I will consider within reason as I am gone come May)

I just took these pics today ( I didnt count on there being ANOTHER 6 inches of snow overnight) I took it to the car wash and tried to at least spray it off so you can actually see the vehicle

Need to make a few typo corrections...... I'm asking 6,500. ( it says 6,200) . Its all realitive, depends on what Im willing to settle for. The mileage is 173,xxx not 178. Also I forgot to mention that the horn works, but I think there is a problem with the connection as it only works while in certain positions. Turn it to the left, it works fine, make a turn right, it doesnt.
