Hey all!
Wow! It has been a really long time since I posted on this site, things have changed since I was last around. Some of you might remember the Legendary Land Cruisers documentary I made a few years ago now. Sadly my site went down and I lost the URL a long time ago and thus rendered all my hard work in advertising useless. That said, if anyone wants a copy I still have many and they are available at Specters and Slee.
Anyways, to the point. Sadly both my father and I are in positions where it has come time to move on from two of our trucks. We will again drive cruisers in the future, but for now need to off load some gear. I have some questions about selling and some info on the trucks.
First, I am looking for possible classified sites to advertise the trucks. Other than here what is the best bet out there as there are many to chose from? Since I produce videos for a living I can also put up a video showcasing the trucks in action hahaha.
Second I am looking for input on the market values of these trucks. I have done some searching and have an idea of what I would charge, but before I post that I would like to see what people think (be honest hahaha).
Third. here is a look at the truck info:
1984 BJ60 - These diesel guys are hard to find! This amazing guy came from the west coast of Canada, a lady out there had it for a long time, but after it got broken into one day she sold it and it came out here to Ontario. We bought it from an engineer who had it for a while. It is all stock, runs amazing, 5spd, has a little rust in back wheel wells, and needs springs. Otherwise this is a clean truck and a really good find! Might need a good paint job, but that would come with body work anyways. I can send and or post pictures upon request.
1978 FJ40 - If you ever saw the Legendary Land Cruisers Documentary you have seen this guy already. I drive up in it at the beginning and drive it without the roof at the end, I think it also pops up once or twice through out in mud and stuff. It is a red hard top 40 with aftermarket spring lifts, good suspension and new shocks since I owned it, full engine re-build including valves, head planing, cylinders, gaskets, rings, barrings etc. new rad core, has had breaks worked on, but leeks a little right now, has been completely stripped down to the frame and cleaned and re-coated, aftermarket heavy steel bumper, 33" Mud Kings, new rear end bearings. The body looks great, the front fenders are rust free as I replaced them, but the rest of the body has had fiberglass work done to it. Great truck! Good trail truck or project truck, and always a fun highway truck as well!
If you prefer to contact me directly off board send an email to: elliott_fisher@hotmail.com
Thanks!
Isaac
