1988 FJ62 $2500 Wyoming
SOLD!! I had listed this a while back after I killed the project I had planned for it. A buddy wanted the truck for a build he wanted to do. So I held onto the truck for him. He has changed his mind now so I list the truck again. I tired to find the other thread rather than make a new one but couldn't find it. So what am I selling? I am selling a super solid FJ62 less the motor, axles and suspension. The body has zero rust. It has original paint in pretty darn good condition. This truck originally came from Georgia. I don't think it ever saw the dirt. I think it was used by a soccer mom until it blew up it's motor at about 207,000 miles. There is some very small shopping mall dents (from carts) in the body, very small as in eraser...

The story I got, which matches the car fax report is that it was purchased new at Southwest Toyota in Hobbs, New Mexico, by a resident of Texas (the dealership sticker is still on tailgate) The orginal owner sold it around 2002 to a guy in Minnesota who drive it for a couple of years and parked it in a garage. He gave it to his cousin in September 2013 who sold it. The vehicle...

I am getting rid of my '88 White FJ62. The car is originally from Arizona, and I bought it in 2008. Since then, I've put some aftermarket specs on it and used it as my everyday driver for the past 6+ years. It is no longer practical for me for work and family, so I want someone else to use and enjoy it. Price: $3,500 Miles: 245,000 Aftermarket specs/other highlights: - Black powder-coated Mickey-Thompson rims - Original paint and striping - Newly re-built transmission (2013) with life-time warranty - Bose speakers throughout (custom casing on driver and passenger side) - Alpine CDA-9857 stereo with iPod/iPhone connection (in center console) - Alpine MRP-350 pre-amp - Dual 12-inch JL Audio subwoofers in custom housing Cosmetic...
Fellow Mudders, I've got an 83 FJ60 near Atlanta that's in great shape with only 180K on the original engine. I've done tons of work, but the only thing is, it's getting a little tiresome carrying the fam and dogs in it, and I'm really hoping to find an FJ80 or LX450 so I can have the 3rd seat. My wife's got me eating words, and I'd really like to keep the off-road capability I've got with this truck, but have a more comfortable/roomy interior that would better accommodate my family. Since I’ve gotten this truck, I’ve done the following: reupholstered driver seat, replaced fuel pump, replaced clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder, thermostat, spark plugs, & choke cable. The ENTIRE heating & cooling system has been replaced with a...
1988 FJ62 Lifted and locked
$4,000 USD Marshall, Michigan, United States Mechanically sound, I drive it almost every day ARB front winch bumper Rear tire carrier bumper w/ ladder and receiver (needs new bearings) ARB front/rear lockers (they work great) New (almost) BFG AT 33" tires Interior is very original and in pretty nice condition Neoprene seat covers/custom rear organizer that houses the compressor hose Body is a rusty mess, don't bother asking if such and such body part is rusted, it is! "Gappy" (from the forum here, hopefully I spelled that right!) stopped by to take a look at it today and said the frame in the rear was too rusty for his liking. He also said since he's seen it now in person he could field some questions if you guys want a second opinion.
1984 fj60, DF/W area, w/ vortec conversion
Blue 1984 FJ60 with 176K miles 4.8L vortec conversion with an automatic 4L60-E tranny. (80K miles) I was told (from Mike at Dadja's automotive) that it came from a 02' silverado or a chevrolet express. The miles I'm a little unsure of but according to the previous owner it was around 80K. He did not do the conversion but was done by a guy in Irving ,TX that is known for these type of setups. The A/C and heater are not currently hooked up. The A/C has new lines but needs a switch and the hoses for the heater have been tied off. The right rear quarter panel has been hit and the clear coat is coming off the hood and roof. The tires are have 90% tread left. The dash and windshield both have a crack and 1 speaker works. That being said...
Testing the waters so to speak.:) 2nd Owner I bought this FJ almost 3 years ago and it has been fantastic! I have owned 4 40 series and this was my first 60 and I must say it has done all that I have asked. I have only put 11,000 miles on it since I first brought it home. Rust free. Some nics and scratches. Interior is 8 out of 10. The Paint is great when wet:) but there is fading on the roof and pealing on the hood. The only thing I have done to it since I bought it besides regular oil changes is i had a new radiator put in as the original had a small leak. I have also added some Mickey Thompson Wheels and Goodyear MT's. I still have the original wheels and if you want it stock take $1000 off the asking price. Please email with any...
1987 FJ-60: Portland, OR
Recent life events have forced me to do the unthinkable: put the truck that was "never intended to be sold" up for sale. 1987 FJ-60: 147,000 miles, Excellent Condition, $22,000.00 OBO This is a meticulously maintained, West Coast vehicle from TLC 4x4 in S. Completely refurbished exterior...
Well plans have changed and I'm putting my 1984 BJ60 up for sale. I imported this rig from Canada a few years ago with the intent of putting the 3B and H55 in my FJ60. I've since discovered V8 power but that's another story. I imported and titled the truck. It has a Idaho title. The truck has 288,8XX KM on it (approx. 179,4XX miles) The 3B runs great. When I bought it the seller had it tested and it had compression of 480, 480, 480, 475. Since then it has only been driven around the block a few times, onto and off of a flat bed trailer and backed into a garage. I repeat, it runs great. It starts quickly and idles/drives great. Shifts fine and goes into all gears with no issues. However, it should not be driven any distance...
SOLD The time has come, this project not going to be finished - the need for a vehicle like this has passed on. I'll sell this one of two ways only; as a rolling shell with no power-train, few of the parts made for it, and none of the parts set aside for it, or whole and complete with every part made for it and set aside for it. I am not going to part it out, but if sold as only a roller then after it has left some of the parts will be up for grabs. Purchaser of the roller has first rights to any of it, save any specific parts PM's until after that has happened as I will ignore & delete them. Part of what is motivating this is that rust has set in in the gutters. This needs to go to someone who will stop it before too much longer. I...
1985 FJ60 Dallas Texas Area Good Condition-Not Running
So We are selling our 1985 FJ60 because after pulling the head off I discovered that their is a hole in piston #6 and we just don't have the time to fix it before we are suppose to move. We paid $7500 for the truck when we got it two years ago in Oklahoma City and drove it to Tulsa where we lived. We moved to Forney TX (just outside of Dallas) and drove it down here were we are currently staying. We have invested lots of time and money into bringing it back to stock with a few modest upgrades and it has been the family vehicle for my wife and our now 4 kids. I will list the things I know are wrong with it and the things we have fixed and upgraded below in a pro's and con's list. Thank you for looking at our truck and we hope that its...
1983 FJ60 For Sale
I have a 1983 FJ60 with a 1985 Chevy 305 V8 conversion for sale. I will sacrifice it for $5700 OBO. I am located in Florida. My wife and I have a baby on the way and I must sell. There are a few minor rust spots on rear wheel wells and on the hood. The truck runs very strong. These pics were taken with a cell phone and don't do it justice. Better pics are on the way. If you have any questions or are interested my e-mail is leatherhead592@yahoo.com
Just finished up the trip from St. Petersburg, FL on down to South America. The FJ60 did awesome all the way down to Colombia, but once we got deep into the mountains we decided to continue on by Motorcycle. We didn't leave the cruiser behind though, heading back through Colombia on our way home to ship the truck home. Now that she's back in the states its time to part ways and let someone else enjoy her. Checkout the Craigslist post if your interested: http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/cto/4897763484.html Asking 15k Cheers, Ian

1983 FJ60 Project
$900.00 - Sequim, WA My poor FJ60 has developed a rather loud, rather random engine clack. Unfortunately for me I am not in a position to keep it.. no time ...no money.. no space. Starts and drives, but it sounds like a ticking time bomb to me, I'd recommend trailering it. Breaks my heart to let it go....Hopefully there is a good home awaiting. Stock 2F, minimal rust. Was daily driver until engine sound. Drained oil, a few glimmers and sparkles but not many - did not drop the oil pan though. Craigslist Ad: http://olympic.craigslist.org/cto/4906473283.html
1987 FJ60, 1 Owner, All Original, Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 with only 170,950 original miles. This incredibly clean and original Land Cruiser was owned by an older couple in Colorado and well cared for and looked after. It was never once taken off-road. All of the service records come with the vehicle dating back to 1987. The original window sticker, inspection sticker, contract paperwork, odometer mileage statement from the dealer, and Toyota “pre-delivery service” paperwork are included along with a mint owners manual. Even more rare, is that the original dash...
