2005 V8 with 74,000 miles according to Proffits at the time, I have not used this truck anywhere near as much as I should have and it is time to move on. Below are some of the upgrades that were done to the truck that was purchased in 2010 for $4,300. Conversion, gearing, , brakes, etc... approx $17,500 invested. Custom interior $2,500. I picked this up from last month but decided it's not really for me. I could part it but think it would be better to sell as a whole. Mud price is $3000 firm which is what I have in it. If it doesn't go I will part it then. The locker, engine and suspension are worth more than that. Will consider delivery out west for $1/mile.

The PO was in the middle of a 2FE swap (add fuel injection to the 2F engine) and has a few things left to go, wiring and install plenum, so it does not run and must be trailered. This is a 1987 FJ60. It has about 135k on the odo. This is a parts car, the frame is toast. As for parts, the only item I removed from it is power steering pump and air pump, I think everything else is there. $1,100. Located in Tunkhannock, PA.

- Recent service: Oil Change/Tranny drain & fill, Muffler, Tailpipe, Tires rotated and balanced.
Runs and drives great, transmission is tight and shifts smoothly (no wobbly shifter)
It still wears its original paint, bottom half still looks good but the top half has taken a beating from the sun so some clear has peeled and oxidized.
-Body is EXTREMELY straight, maybe 2 dings and superficial scrape on the corner, underneath is bone dry however does need a good steam clean or pressure wash,
-Interior is also original and in great condition, seats are in great condition, however once again the sun has taken its toll on the dash and top of the drivers door panel...
Ive owned the truck for about 4 months. It runs great and is in great condition. The odo is showing ~ 182,500, but it stopped working for a bit so has a few more miles than that.

I listed this truck a little back and pulled it down as I was having too much fun in it and I didn't know what else I'd be looking for if it sold. Now I've decided to sell it in favour of picking up a 4-door cruiser, so I'm open to trades straight across or for something of lesser value plus cash. Let me know what you have, but it must be diesel and in reasonable condition. This truck is lots of fun, but fill it with my 120lb pup, 2 year-old, wife, surfboards on the roof and there isn't much room left for camping gear or wetsuits, let alone a friend or two.
For the most part, the truck is pretty stock and very low mileage...

That is about it. Everything else is not really a worry. I just want something that is free of all body rust- no bubbling or other. I don't want to have to fix that, and would prefer to find something I can just jump into and daily drive as-is, and not have to worry about.

This is a rust free west coast truck newly on the east coast and ready for its new owner - preferably someone who knows and loves the Land Cruiser ethic and the process of refurbishing and upgrading these amazing trucks which will last forever if well treated. I'm selling the truck as is.
Over the past 1.5 years I've had the truck I've done a lot of the mechanical work and now it is ready for the fun stuff, a reasonable lift, a locking differential, whatever sounds fun. I hate to sell it, but my family situation has changed and we need to channel our resources elsewhere at the moment.
This FJ60 spent most of its life on back roads...
